I liked Dope. I think he also did The Wood too.
Not someone I would of ever imagined to be directing The Flash, but a lot of these successful CBM's are being directed by people who haven't had a background in action or anything close to superheroes. Guys like James Gunn and the Russo Bros.

I know he's not a household name, but I could see Alan Ritchson (aka. Thad Castle from Blue Mountain State aka. Raphael from the new TMNT movies). Though, I could see him being too goofy for the role.

He's an incredible actor. A great dramatic actor, but he's got the ability to be goofy, but in a good way and not campy. Like in Don Jon. This guy used to be Tommy from 3rd Rock. I could easily picture him saving the day and then getting salty that no one knows he just saved their lives.

Agreed on him being a good actor though, but see drama is more of where I expect to see him in my films. Booster Gold has some drama, but he's a heavily comical character as well. Same with Blue Beetle for that matter. Don Jon's a good example that i'd forgotten about however and that was certainly pretty funny. Seemed to take him out of his comfort zone and he did well getting into the role. And the bae Scarlett Johansson was looking right the entire film When he got with Julianne Moore's character at the end instead of getting back with Scarlett though

3rd Rock From The Sun was a pretty good sitcom. It was a long time ago though.

DC needs to hurry up and cast Shazam. The Rock has like 50 movies planned for the foreseeable future and it's not that crazy to think he might land a few more. By the time they're ready to make Shazam, what if he's too busy on another film? If they have to replace him, they're going to need someone else noteworthy or someone who will absolutely crush the role of Black Adam.
I've never been inside a Hot Topic, but I might have to go just to buy that tee. I thought that logo was a watermark at first. It's kind of in a weird place, but oh well.
