Peacemaker and Moon Knight, no. Those are lesser known characters that got high quality shows via writing, actors, and direction.

Kinda crazy if they had not made a statement on dude yet officially.
It’s a bad look to wait and see how the movie does or if he’s still doing wild shot next year when you’re shelving movies to save money.

They’ve already sunk 300 mill into the movie. So canceling it would be a huge loss. Throwing it on HBO max may be what ends up happenong

and i dont really think they can do anything that can salvage it at this point thats gon be good for anyone
cancel it and the studio loses tons of $$$
release it and you cant have the lead promoting the film and theres gon be a lot of backlash
maybe recast dude now with gosling, have him shoot all those scenes and just kill ezra flash off int he beginning then cgi gosling in all his scenes

I'm more than sure they'll go the recasting route by reshooting his scenes and digitally replacing him like they did with Chris D'Elia in Army of the Dead. Under no circumstances can they release this movie with Ezra still in it. Aquaman 2 is in a similar situation with Amber "the abuser" Heard.
