Does anyone watch Young Justice on Netflix? Show is fire and should be a template for the DCU.

Yeah I finished up season 1 again and I'm up to episode 5 of season 2 I love this show so damb much

It's surprisingly good. Might be the best cartoon based on American comics that I've seen. Has a vibe similar to the 90s X-Men cartoon, but not as cheesy and with much better animation.

This epitomizes why Snyder shouldn't have been put in charge of superman.. And especially shouldn't have been put in charge of JL or the introduction of the JL





Letting him do a 'dark knight returns' movie(s).. I get that.. But you don't have the build up with everything as you did in those two movies.. Nixon as president.. All the other stuff

Check out those 3 and also:

- Assault on Arkham --- more of a Suicide Squad movie

- Son of Batman --- introduces Damian

- Bad Blood --- recently released, it's okay

Those are basically all of the DC animated Batman films.

Batman Mask of the Phantasm remains one of the best animated DC films of all time and I would absolutely recommend it. Pick up Assault on Arkham as well. More of a Suicide Sqaud film than anything, but its in Gotham so Batman naturally appears in it, and it's very good. Leagues better than the films they've been releasing with Damian. Year One is solid, but if you've read the comic then you won't be getting anything new. It's pretty much lifted from that scene for scene. Does come with a nice Catwoman special though.

This times a million. Dudes that were around back then know how hype and LIT that movie was. If I recall there was drama back then on whether the movie should've been pg-13. It was a little darker than BTAS because people actually died but it was amazing.

As far as the Catwoman short goes, the animators had way too much fun on the strip club scene.

Is Dan Amboyer playing Hal Jordan in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice? The up-and-coming actor teases that his character's name is intentionally being kept under wraps.

On working with Zack Snyder:
It was interesting. He was a cool guy. I don't know if people know this, but he's really big about fitness on set, even as far as catering. So, he's always encouraging healthy food, which is great. He even makes you do push-ups in between takes.

On what scenes he filmed:
Um, I don't know what I can say that's not spoilery. So, let's just say, I filmed good ones.

Reveals he auditioned to play the lead superheroes in Man of Steel and The Flash:
That was more my brother's thing [reading comics as a kid]. I had an appreciation from the outside, but I never got deep into it. But I've become more interested in it and it's strange because I have started to audition for more of that stuff. I auditioned to play Superman in Man of Steel originally and I auditioned for The Flash. I've constantly been coming back to these characters.

Talks about his character in Batman v Superman. Says the currently released character names for his role, 'Lieutenant Christie' and 'Drone Pilot' are not the actual identity of his role in the film:
I can't [say anything about my character]. They told me I couldn't say anything. Oh, yes. [My character's name] does appear, but it's kind of an undercover thing. The name appears on me at one point.

What I am digging the most is that this essentially guarantees that Jim Gordon will be in this iteration of Bats'. Been hearing speculation that he may be dead as well, but given Barbara's age, he should be alive. Now to find someone to fill Gary Oldman's shoes'.
