People in here wanna act like, oh WSHH is this terrible place (and I agree, thats why I don't go there), when in reality it's just a place for people to post their ignorant stuff for other ignorant folk to go and watch. You guys wanna point the finger at worldstar? How bout you point the finger at the people putting **** up at worldstar?

You're right, WORLDSTAR has become part of pop culture and social media culture, something anyone with a computer will encounter, but like i said, the problem can't be blamed solely on worldstar, the finger should be pointed at the people putting ignant **** online. People will watch ignant **** if they want, just like you when you go there from time to time. Some people need to let off some of their passive aggressivenes and testorone by watching, or partaking, in people fighting other people, people getting behaded, people doing all types of crazy violent ****. Like I said, point the finger at these kids and no solely on worldstar. worldstar goes, another worldstar comes back. People want to watch other people get beat up and then feel bad about it because society tells you to that that isn't right, but i guarantee you other people choose to ignore those morals because violence might be that important to them. Like I said, projecting your morals onto others is wrong because other people aren't you, other people will view morals differently than you. Blame the way some of these kids were raised, where they were raised and their parents (or lack therof) for not instilling proper morals on them.


Large sums of money can make people detach themselves from morals easily, that's why a host of worldstar probably doesn't care, it doens't affect him outside of creating revenue. Its the same for wallstreet bankers and other people being corrupt, it doesn't matter because the people getting the short end of the stick are out of their perspective.

violence in our culture is the result of many things, but this particular thread is to discuss wshh and websites alike, and their effect on the violence in our culture.

we could go on for days blaming things like movies, video games, tv, sports etc for violence. lets just stay on topic.

absolutely. but turning a blind eye to acts of exploitation harms people. so although that may not bother you in particular, its ridiculous to not understand how that doesnt sit well with other people.

None of this is worldstar fought...if yall want to blame it for glorifying something you find vile and despicable than I totally understand that stance. I just don't agree.

I'm not trying to make this a race thing but im not sure how many of yall grew up in 100% black environments like I did but i only can speak for my own childhood. ANY school fight from grades 3rd to 12th people would crowd around and RUN to see entertainment. Hell im not proud to admit but in middle/highschool if one of the fighters hit the ground a good number of us (me included) would stump them like we were in the fight. It is what it is. And we didnt even have youtube like that in 98-02. No, no one shouted worldstar but bets believe it was plenty of fights.


Yall act like violence isnt one the oldest/greatest forms of entertainment we have as humans. Roman coliseum anyone? boxing? wrestling? c'mon, yall dont play dumb

If your problem with Wshh is how it portrays black people to the rest of the world then once again dont blame the messenger, blame the idiot who doesn't know real honest regular black folk who dont all act like that. If some kid grows up in a community with little to no black and he gets his whole perspective on the race from a website like that, than thats bad on him and his intelligence level. not wshh fault, that kid can use the entire internet to learn about a race.

If world star was a TV channel, I'd be all for shutting it down, but people CHOOSE to upload videos, people CHOOSE to watch the video. World star isn't making people participate or going out to film ignorance. Most of the video were posted on Youtube and WSHH just reposts.

If you really think WSHH is a problem for society, start showing the people always talking about WSHH something else to look. Everybody that I know that goes to world star only know of, maybe 2 or 3 other sites to go to.

Honestly, I don't have a clear opinion on it.

Its a catch 22. People should be able to protect themselves, and guns allow that. But at the same time, every one isn't mentally stable to own one. There are a lot of people who have horrible judgement and critical thinking skills who don't know when its the proper time to use a gun.

Then you have terrorism, blah blah blah.


I think guns are a necessary evil. In a perfect world, they wouldn't be needed. But in the world we live in, they are. And it doesn't root back to just the ***** of the gun itself. But weapons themselves. Violence itself.


I don't think banning guns is the answer to the problems, but I do feel as if the laws on gun ownership should be extremely strict.


You shouldn't be able to go buy a gun from Wal-Mart.... Whether its for hunting or not.


Something like WSHH is a lot easier to wrap my head around than guns/violence. One day I'll have a better answer for you on it though.
