Ok now your going to far this team will not be a lottery team in two years because we will have Huge amounts of money to throw out and presumably have Kobe if he decides to play another year or two for a discount (Kobe 2 years from now probably isnt scoring 29 a game, but still effective)

Throw money around at who ? Who wants to play here especially with Kobe

 at Kobe's defense.

But he can still put up the points...

Why isn't there 658 pages of people mocking the Celtics?

Why we don't got no Paul Pierce haters on NT?

Where all the Rondo will walk talk?

Do we develop these Laker hater clones somewhere in a forum I don't know about? Is that what they do in the old Jordan forum now? These guys are like weeds man, pull one and 4 come back. :lol

Serious question I'd have though: Do you guys want to align with Dwight post-2013 as the centerpiece of your franchise for the next 7-8 years if this is what he is? Yes, I know he could get back to 100% by spring or next year. But if what you've seen from the end of October through now is, in fact, Dwight Howard?

Signed,

Knick fan who saw Larry Johnson never get 'it' back while making a billion dollars.

It was sad watching LJ miss layups in NY and not being able to jump off the ground...when in Charlotte he was such a beast.

Only highlight from LJ in NY that I can remember is him hitting the four point play against Indy.

That'a a good point about D12 though...

We have time to eval him. If he's still this Dwight in April, then we have pause, no doubt about it. But one would hope in the next 4 months he does get back to his level. If that happens, then full speed ahead.

I think we'll know a lot at the deadline, cuz I am wondering if we flip Pau (19 mil), and Dwight is maybe going to be allowed to leave suddenly we are way under the cap next year, rebuilding may start a year early.

Did LJ have good games, and bad games in terms of being able to get up and down? Cuz some nights Dwight looks just fine, old self, leaping at will. Other times he can't jump a piece of paper. Was LJ similar to that, I don't remember.

This year will tell just how hurt Dwight was with this injury and how well he will recover... With that said i would still like to have him as the centerpiece considering even far from a 100 percent he's still able to board play great defense and give you a post presence. Something that very few others in the League can do and if they can they are going to also have to payed max.

And your right what idiot would want to play for the most storied franchise in the NBA alongside one of the best to ever do it. Along with a clear roster to add all the players necessary to win. They would much rather ball in cleveland :rolleyes

I'm having a hard time with people blaming Kobe of all people for these losses when he's averaging a league high... Playing the most efficient ball of his life in his 18th season all while having too switch systems mid season and hold down a team that has had its starting lineup consist of Meeks, Duhon, Ebanks, Metta etc etc. the **** is crazy

With LJ in NY it was really bad in regards to regaining his athleticism.

Trade Deadline will be the perfect time to cut bait on Pau and/or Dwight.

We lost our biggest asset (i loathed him personally) in Bynum for a one year trial run with Dwight, if it doesn't turn around and this team is what we are scared it is he WILL leave.

If Dwight wants to test free agency, and jump ship, Mitch has to be open to options in getting back something of value.

With that said #2 :lol

Who says no? :rollin

I know ATL is rolling right now but would they not jump at a chance to get Dwight?

Portland gets out from that albatross of a deal Mathews got, gets equal value for LMA with one less year on the deal and gets Lou who can provide bench scoring.

We trade 2 bigs for 2 mobile bigs, get a young dynamic PG, and a scorer off the bench... I love it. 8)

What the hell makes you think Portland would give up Aldridge in a deal centered around Pau?

I just told you... what has portland won with an LMA centered team? what will they win? Stuck in mediocrity.

He is what he is, a stretch jumpshooting big man.

Plus i had a \m/ on my team

Portland would sink itself into the pacific ocean before they help the Lakers do something.

LMA, Horford, Teague and Wes for Dwight and Pau huh? What's the matter, you felt guilty askin for JSmoove too? :lol

A man can dream can't he?

I forgot Pau only have value to the Lakers, I should have traded him for Sasha Pavlovic and Jared Jefferies.

Dude has no skill or worth.

LA River is that way Pau >>>>>>>>>>>>

***** sucking up Kobe after Vanessa finishes :{

You've been playing with Kobe for 3 months, what mentoring has he done / you've learned? :|

We should have dumped Pau when we had the chance now his trade value is at an all time low.
:lol at the trades in here
