yes they are

but thats good one of the reasons the shoe last so long

another good thing about the og's is the metal eye lids but i dont care about that

plus a better cut i never liked the cut of the og's

thats what I have said the reto 12's from 2003's are very comfy the CDP 12's are like a insole made of cardboard

but the 2009's 12's are just as comfortable as the 2003's retros

if not more so
