Dexter Season 8 - Premeres June 30th - 2min sneak peak

I just wanna know what happens to Dexter at the end of this series. I never thought this show was well written or that good but the
idea of it always intrigued me. HBO would've done a much better job with it imo. Now, it's almost unbearable to watch. Does Dexter die or get away it is all l i'm concerned with at this point.

The show was very good and one of the best shows on TV it's first four seasons. I think John Lithgow won an Emmy.

But once Trinity was gone, the show has gone down hill since.

He needed a Trinity or Bay Harbour Butcher.

I guess I'm one of the few who liked Season 5. Ever since six, though, the show hasn't done it for me. I'm just watching to see how it ends now. Anyway, this whole season is about family, even the subplots, so I'm betting the Brain Surgeon is Vogel's son. I hope there's more to it than that though, like some connection to Dexter's past. Maybe they'll do with the Brain Surgeon what it looked like they were doing with Louis.

I've said for a while that season 5 was better than 4 by far. 4 just had the ultimate cliffhanger is all. The Trinity character itself was overrated as ****. The Jordan Chase crew that was 5 deep was much more of a challenge than the old man that couldn't even kill his own self properly. :{

I can totally see some insanely dedicated fans a few years from now making some insane theories for this show with wild connections like Pokemon was all just a coma dream of Ash Ketchum, all the Rugrats kids are the figment of Angelica's imagination, etc.

Those aren't wild connections, though. If anything, they're extremely plain and pedestrian, and anyone can make those theories.

Everything about these connections are insane because they're children's shows. You weren't a child or even a preteen watching these shows saying clearly this entire story is a coma dream of a kid nearing death or this show is about a lonely little girl with a vivid imagination or that Dr. Claw is really Inspector Gadget or that the Fresh Prince died in that fight he got in, or that Ed, Edd, and Eddy is really about dead kids in purgatory or that Garfield is really about a cat dying from starvation hallucinating Jon and Odie. Not to mention the gist of these theories deal with one character making it all up in their head or as a dream. Plus if you're a grown person looking at these shows coming up with this stuff, yeah pretty much insane.

Anybody can say that though. It's not like the shows have tidbits that support these theories.

For example, I could just as easily say that Doug was a show about a boy who lives a make-believe life after a car accident destroys his body and his brain is kept functioning in a vat. Or how about, Legends of the Hidden Temple is actually a cover up to get young kids on the set so that they could be molested backstage by the producers.

See? Pretty simple to do.

Um.... yeah, you seem to be thinking my use of the word "insane" means that only a select few ppl can make these kind of theories up and somehow they're unique. Thanks for the observation but it's not relevant to what I pointed out about ppl doing that with Dexter.

Not at any point am I saying anyone can't do this. I'm talking about the ppl that do and what they come up with which I guess I wasn't clear about or it just went over your head and you felt like harping on that one thing.

Also what car accident did Doug get in to? :rollin You don't got any clues or evidence for that legends of the hidden temple example :lol :{ :rolleyes Now you got me thinking anyone can't do it. I mean if you just want to pull something out your *** and then say hey I can do the same go on right ahead. Aint got **** to do with what I'm talking about.

:lol

Same page, you and I are not on.

Oh well, carry on.

I can't help but feel like that software he used to do his detective work was ridiculous.:lol

Good job to those who called it, though.

I knew dude was the surgeon, but thought it was reaching to be Vogels son.

The preview looks good. We'll see what's up nxt week.

The way these eps are ending I just can't see how Dex dies in the end or is even exposed unless Argentina = Belize and a whole bunch of ppl are gonna die :lol

It's crazy how I can see Walt dying in the end of BB more plausible than Dex in the end of this. This ep almost felt like I can see 10 more coming with this status quo.

Show seems to be more like the novel and comic version than what it use to be as far as coming to a real good compelling conclusion. Dexter at least had that in a lot of the final eps of various seasons.

the only thing that i liked about deb was her constant cursing and that she hated hannah...
now shes eating dinner with her and acting all cool... :{
on the bright side hannah was looking hella fine

this episode was good. up to the ending

the ending was stupid
wtf is vogel & her sons motives :|

Yeah when you look at that if Vogel was smart she'd dip with her son back to England but I bet she'll talk up Dex, make her long lost son jealous and inadvertently egg him on to kill Dex which will probably lead to her death.

So Daniel is not only Cassie's boyfriend/killer, but he's also Vogel's son and he just so happens to be the Brain Surgeon as well?

How convenient.

Why did Daniel kill Cassie using Zach's MO? You could argue that him killing her was a crime of passion, but if that's the case why implicate Zach by putting his blood under Cassie's fingernails?

Looks like Vogel finally found her "perfect psychopath".

I'm intrigued by seeing how Team Vogel vs. Team Dexter dynamic plays out over these last episodes.
