Not saying that this was directed at me, but I'm a fan of "conscious/substance" based rap old and new. I really just don't like a lot of the music Kendrick makes. Again, I respect and appreciate his lyricism, but if he comes on shuffle, 90% of the time I'm skipping it.

Honestly I can understand why people aren't big fans of Kendrick. He's definitely my favorite rapper today though.
Same way I stopped messing with J.Cole's music for a good amount of years until he dropped 2014 Forest Hills Drive. Didn't find his music interesting at all during that time.
