It’s always an outlier esp online. Being we’re online not surprised someone would have many friends that sound like a cartoonish cat. Glad I’ve never ran into that crew ever though.

Racism is a form of prejudice, its just a specific prejudice involving people being discriminatory to another ethnicity through unjustified notions.

Outside of Present, Blastercombo, alchemist IQ, Methodical Management, debso, nawgttyhare, sugafree, dc all american, Mark antony, and a few of the brothers I may have missed from the Black Culture thread? I am not too concerned with the opinions of those who do not know the difference between prejudice and racism. If you can’t get that right? I don’t need to even have a conversation with you about the time of day.

It's many threads I look at, and deem them not worth my time. Plus it's a number of race baiting trolls and you know it's their purpose.
Plus if I stay in here expressing myself I start getting warnings and bannings.
And America has a race problem, this board is no different. Certain people don't want to discuss race, and frankly nothing is accomplished from discussing it. People just try to be right instead of trying to understand or comprehend what the other person is saying. It's a lot of wasted typing and energy.

What you’re referring to has evolved man. Words constantly take on different meanings, the dictionary adds stuff all the time. Institutional or systemic racism is obviously a thing, nobody is trying to bury that, but the word itself has taken a a broader definition.
BTW you never answered my question about mestizos. Do brown Latinos experience racism?

It did not evolve. It changed due to the politics of racism. White people changed the definition in order to suit their needs. This was not done due to some altruistic enlightenment. Also, I answered your question.

It’s a circle jerk talking about racism because it’s truly a race to see who has it the worst.
If people can’t comprehend why black people have it so much worse in America than everyone else it’s not really worth discussing.
Pretty much every other minority is the opposite of what black people went through in America. The smartest, most entrepreneurial, most educated people from other races left their home countries and came here in pursuit of economic opportunity. Of course if that is your starting point then it’s likely that generations later that minority group would be fairly successful. Even if they faced racism. They had the tools and mentality to fight it before it defined them.
That said - we live in too sensitive of a world to right the ship. Tricked the masses and the poor into thinking the only way up is through immense struggle and overcoming all odds. When in reality the true path to equality is that there should be $10 spent to every $1 spent for every black child that is age 0-5 to every non black child in terms of resources and support. Waiting until college for stuff like affirmative action is way too late. The resources and community infrastructure that’s been available to the black community is so rigged - no chance. Only a few exceptional cases make it out. And oftentimes those people are ostracized by the very communities they are seeking to uplift.
Last time i’ll talk on it though. The more people can internalize the idea that the world isn’t fair the quicker they can accept it and re-focus energy on what you can control instead of what you can’t.

I get the concept, but it's less important than a matter more crucial than detailing why she cannot be called 'sexist'.
A more crucial matter lies in the following question posed at the end:
We meet a woman who has a negative predisposition towards men, before meeting them. She own a business and has only ever hired women. Speaks hatefully of men.
Just hates men. I get the concept that she cannot be called sexist. That's fine.
But it doesn't solve what she can be accurately called.

They still are the minority. But keep in mind, forums from the early 2000's like NT were a free-for-all with the slurs.
Mods just didn't enforce anything because there was no incentive do so, even though they should have.
Also, forums back then had the mIRC type of culture - free speech, even it is hateful. As people evolved using the internet, we also learned how to manage forums like this properly.
I wish we had a NSFW / Fight Club section in this forum like other forums. If you had something to say, instead of ruining a thread, call out the person and say it there without NT getting demonetized. I observed that it shuts people up asap.
Anyways, back on topic. As an outsider, America does have an underlying racist culture.
Unfortunately for black folks, other races just seem to dismiss the generational impact of what black americans have faced and still face. I compare it to climate change. You may think something is wrong, but there won't be anything substantial that other races will do about it because they have other issues in their own lives they need to address.
Which brings me to that freedom dividend / universal basic income that Andrew Yang preached. If you take the boot of the neck off people, they will less stressed and have a higher chance of financial success.
With less worries, now you can actually start caring and be more empathatic about others.
E.g.
- actually considering perpetual reparations for american decendants of slaves
- climate change
- general well being of others
Just look at that slave comment to Khufu. That type of insult is wayyyyyy beyond someone being told they are being a incest loving/school-shooter/pedo/terrorist/terrible body odor/illegal immigrant/ bad driving/ small penis or any other superficial racist comment there is.
Man, people just dismiss how much of a massive deal slavery is.

White NTers and white people in general who thinks "not everything is about race" are just wrong. Just about everything that's shaped American society can be traced back to something about race. Things that clearly are race-related such as likelihood of someone getting a loan, mortgage job have so many follow-on effects that on the surface may not seem racial, but can be traced back to something about race.
The most empathetic and compassionate white person will still never actually know how it feels to be a minority, the same way I'll never know how it feels to be a female. Most people I know who complains about too much race talk are the same ones who subconsciously feels like their dominance in society is being threatened, or they don't want to deal with the guilt that their race has done some terrible things in history. Black and POC people don't want an equality of outcome, they're just looking for equality of opportunity and there's no other way to do it in today's society that to talk about it.

The girl inherited land, which sat on top of an oil field, and became wealthy as a result. Because it was Oklahoma in the early 20th century (not that long ago), authorities decided that she will be thought of as white because black folks can't be rich.
Land is wealth. Wealth increases ones class. Look into how many black folks throughout the South lost land to targeted racist policies. Look into how poorly black farmers are still treated by the department of agriculture vs white farmers.
Capital is wealth. Look into the racism within labor movements. ****, even the movement to allow women to vote had a racist, segregationist justification for it.
Class and race in the American experience are intertwined. The American Racist relies on unsuspecting citizens to isolate race as its own thing separate from other issues like taxes, public services, education, labor issues, religion, etc, etc... There's a name for that: the southern strategy.
