Donald Trump is running for president

Are you saying Trump's ideology is borderline acceptable? I don't want to assume thats what you meant...
It's borderline acceptable because it has rare overlaps with Sanders (on trade). I like the fact he's sort of in Putin's pocket (whereas the rest of Washington thinks he is the devil incarnate) and foreign policy (minus the nukes lol).
His minor overlap on trade with Sanders still does not make it borderline acceptable. His views on immigration, economics and foreign policy alone outweigh that minor overlap in importance. And you can't say minus the nukes that is a huge concern and cannot just be belittled.

Oh I understand that thats why i'm trying to say its a problem that anyone thinks this man can be president because of his charisma its nonsense.
Good charisma + a borderline acceptable, ideology is better than Hillary's. She's like a Democrat Romney, but he rejects the status quo at the very least.

America's days have long since past, but you might as well try.

Why was Obama's "lack of experience" damnable but Trump's is supposed to be endearing?

I mean...I know why, but I want to hear what others think

Because they don't really care about experience if they did most people wouldn't have a qualm with Clinton because she is clearly the only person left in the race with the most experience and is the most qualified for the job even if it would just maintain more of the status quo for now thats better than risking going backwards because of Trump. There is another factor but I won't touch it considering to how some posters here react to that factor...

Again charisma and entertainment value have nothing absolutely nothing to do with someones potential to be president of the United States.

His charisma alone is not what got him the presidency there where many other factors at play but even if that was the only factor that did it doesn't make it right to elect someone of off charisma.

da population deserves da President they elect. a relatively unknown Obama got into office largely based off his skin color...
so charisma & swag? i aint gonna complain over that.

America has been dying since the 70s as THE place to be, he's trying the nuke option on the economy and I don't mind. Either you trap the dudes in or massive Corporation exodus. He's not a far-right madman, more of like when you mix up every soda in the fountain and drink it.

You should complain over it cause its not the smartest way to elect a president

And President Obama did not win the election based off of his skin color alone...

It bugs me when people say that, If black people where just voting for people because they where black we Hermain Cain would have had been the Republican nominee right? Just for the novelty of it right how come he didn't get the benefit of being black then? Oh thats right cause competency matters when it comes to this stuff.

You should mind because again Nuke's are not an option that can just be thrown around in the realm of policy. And trapping corporations in is not the solution to fixing the American economy we've gotten to this point because we have allowed corporations to do whatever they have wanted and catered to them in our laws and cannot be reigned in that easily.

He won with cronies like Rahm + Skin + Charisma. I would've voted for him over Mr. PTSD any day of the week.

And because he was more competent (something that actually matters) than McCain to be president of the United States people always leave that part out.

It's never about the message with these guys, it's either voter fraud, 'they want free stuff', the liberal media.

Zero accountability from the party that like to preach personal responsibility

All this ammo and baggage that Hillary has, if Trump loses to her, the whining and excuses will be off the charts.

Politics is not meant to be entertaining I don't need my presidential candidate to be entertaining I find no value in his "entertainment" he is a walking horse and pony show and has no substance and should not be president of this country off that alone not even getting into discussing his "policies" that would not work.
It's a mix of this new breed and slightly older group of apathetic scavengers coming out of the woodwork to embrace this sensationalized reality tv instant gratification age. It's spread quite far when you look at society and now it's finally punctured politics which never had much integrity to begin with but continues to degrade at an increasing rate.

So now the serious issues can be played with and presented in a light that's more appeasing to those seeking instant gratification. Its a mix of a lot of logical fallacies, particularly appealing to ignorance and the use of persuasion tactics.

If anything this'll be a good test to see how many voting Americans are easy marks. Sort of how you also blame victims of giving their life savings to Nigerian princes.

It's America, let it keep spinning it's one tire fire. I used to be the Thom Hartmann esque "politics isn't a spectator sport" type, but at the end of the day we all just want a good laugh.

I cringe so much at some of X-Alt's post. Jeez brah

-All we want is a good laugh, implying Obama being black got him the presidency, calling someone that was a prisoner of war Mr. PSTD.

Famb is becoming the new Superb

I knew he had made some unsavory posts before

Forgot it was the Nazi thing

He said some stuff about black people too after that. Then he got upset at everyone piling on him

Meth just banned him from the Spacejam thread for advocating fake shoes too :lol

Except the Nazi one was a horrible backtrack and I apologized.
