The voter turnout, or rather lack thereof, is certainly mindblowing. Especially with the supreme court pick there was a lot at stake in this election.
Regardless of how deeply flawed Hillary was as a candidate, Trump's supreme court pick alone will wreak havoc on policies that should be important to anyone who calls themselves a liberal/progressive. Trump has already pledged to appoint an anti-abortion supreme court justice. All these so-called liberals who stayed home let that happen. A first world country in 2016 regressing backwards to policies that should've been left in the medieval age.
Trump said he personally wouldn't touch gay marriage but I think it's safe to assume that a strong conservative anti-abortion supreme court judge would also want to overturn gay marriage. Which would be absolutely disgraceful.
I'd expect such policies from Saudi Arabia, not the United States Of America.
