Don't these people have to work?
Most companies are still off today or started later... I didn't have to be in until 11
Probably high school/college kids though

Man I used to love H&M, but now im very picky when buying stuff from there. Blazers are decent, some jackets are cool too. Its just you KNOW its H&M, and you see 2904234234 other people with the same ish.
MTM is more for the leather jackets since the TOJ1s are only adjustable in length and sleeve length
And from what you posted on Styleforum, the denim jacket pics you posted looks pretty similar to the TOJ1 you got
I would never line up outside hm for anything .
whats everyone's thoughts on the RL Academy peacoat?

I saw a sign about $5. The line was pretty long upon opening, referring to H&M. I went to Barneys which is right next door to pick up a blazer. Store was empty though since no additional sales are ongoing. At work now. And yes a lot of companies give the day off.
IMO, the only navy (colored) peacoat I would buy is the US Navy issued joint. I have had mine for years. Made in the USA and is built like a tank.
Burberry seems to make a grey one thats a strong competitor.
The majority of SF isn't too keen of luxury brands since they spend the majority on marketing and not quality. The measurements on that denim jacket were inches smaller than the 54 charly suggested. I told him I was thinking about a 52 and he suggested the 54. He had suggested the 54 before I even sent pictures of the jacket. I bought that jacket to show I could fit a large (jacket was also a slim). He still suggested a 54. I asked him if he was sure. He said he was my same measurements and that the 54 was tight on him. He had seen my pics so I assumed he was comparing his size to mine. I had no idea that Charly was built like the Hulk, Im more like Spiderman. If I would have know that I would have went with the 52.
That 54 damn near covered my butt.
Thier stuf is nice but their are high end items much better and if your patient you can find cheaper. I was going to get a TOJ w/ the sherling collar until I found a Burberry one for $700 orginally $2000.
TOJ fan boys are worst than Apple fan boys. They buy ill fitting clothing turn around sell that for a lost and order another. Their business seems to be repeat business from the same people.
^ thanks for the reply bro, I just checked on the RL site, they make a few colors, (Charcoal, black, navy)
Yea i heard about the US Navy ones, wow, 9 years! i might give it a look!
I just remembered ppl talking about the RL Academy joint in previous DB threads, so i was just wanting some feedback...I have to go somewhere cold (Illinois) for a week or so...
i am in the southwest so i never need a coat here..coldest it gets is 50 degrees. So i am a Newb when it comes to outerwear.

A lot of ToJ's customers are repeated like you stated though.
Speaking of ToJ (sorry you had a bad experience with them NewJs and thought it fit well in those last pics you posted), this is one of the best fits I've seen (fit and leather color).
Yeah ordering from ToJ could take a few tries to get the right fit but it seems most gets it right the first time too, they just do not post. It took me a year before pulling the trigger and while the fit is pretty good, it isn't exactly perfect and mostly I just did my own measurements and adjusted accordingly.
In ToJs defense, everyone's body is different and a 150lbs guy could be built completely different to the next guy that is also 150lbs of the same height. ToJ is a step ahead by providing certain parts to be mtm so you can adjust.
I do think it has been a problem and something that Drew probably doesn't want to deal with anymore and that is why John Coppidge will be mostly OTR from what I understand.

design wise, it's perfect. I like coats to have pockets closer to the chest area so this coat would work for me.
