Honestly, I got them two christmases ago back (in black) when my only dress shoes were a pair of Aldo's...Although they were a definite step up, I would never pay retail for them. I think I got em for 40% and even still I regret it since I could've picked up a pair of used AEs on the bay for around that price if not a bit better. Now that my collection has amassed to where it currently stands, I have more options. Therefore my landsend's get used only when it rains or going to the club. My suggestion to you is to hit up eBay for used AEs or obtain the seconds list from Allen Edmonds and see if any prices tickle your fancy.
