Elementary School Shooting: Newtown, Connecticut. 28 confirmed dead, 18 were children

yes someone did

I started out by saying that these attacks are taking place where the shooter knows there are no guns. I was saying that these attacks are done by cowards trying to kill defenseless people.

Then all the internet activist started mobbing together with their grief that they use as a form of social confirmation.

Now that something has happened it's justified for you guys to make death threats on strangers and say all kind of vulgar things that you wouldn't say normally or in a person to person setting.

Nobody is mad that they got babies on tv talking about their peers being killed. You peoples infatuation with death and sadness is disgusting.

You'd rather wallow in the death of these children as a form of entertainment.

What I am speaking of is not some conspiracy theory self righteous rhetoric. This behavior you all are exhibiting has been clinically diagnose and ascribed to our heavily media driven culture.

So go ahead. tell me to shut the Eff up while you can. You aren't making the situation any better with your twitter facebook activism.

Still shocked and sad. My heart is heavy too. I know it probably won't change anything but please ban guns .

The pics of those kids....man.....

My point is that it doesn't matter what weapon a person decides to use.  If they are out to kill, they are going to kill.  Yes, I understand that guns can kill more in less time, but does body count matter that much?  Even one person dying from a stab wound is unfortunate.  You all act like it has to be some ungodly number of deaths for it to be considered bad.
So if someone has the ability to kill 10 people in a few minutes rather than 1, that doesn't matter to you?  I'm not for banning guns.  Stricter regulations, maybe...but seriously?

its crazy how hard it is to buy some Js but how easy it is to buy a gun

I feel for the parents of the victims, dropping your kid(s) off to school not knowing that will be the last time you see them alive.

R.I.P. to all victims.

And Ryan Lanza can rot in hell.

And y'all need to ignore the garbage dro420 is saying. Y'all need to stop letting him bait you into arguments. This thread is not the place for that.

Pretty much, second amendment needs to be rewritten. This was written in the 18th century, times have changed.

Someone please answer my question. What if there were a stabbing tomorrow where 22 were killed?  Would you guys want to ban knives and sharp objects?

No, because knives are designed to do other things besides killing.

Wtf man...so sad. They're just kids. It's gonna be harder for these families especially during this time of year. Just too sad. Feel so bad for the victims

Only the over-the-top, unnecessary guns need to be banned.

This really isn't time to talk about that issue but that is a flawed argument man. Honestly how many times over the past thirty years have there been mass murders with a knife. Compare that to automatic weapons, surely you would admit a semi automatic rifle is more dangerous than a knife right?

I'd rather someone try and attack with a knife than a automatic weapon but maybe that's just me. Being wounded is much better than having zero chance to survive with multiple bullets being fired at you. (Obviously I'd rather this sickening behavior would never occur anywhere but that's not realistic. Sadly)

But both events are tragic and my heart goes out to all the children and families here and in China.
