re: diversity in ads

I just know when I walk into a store I will see a wide range of people promoting different items.

Lately, I have been seeing a lot of ads features light skinned black girls/women with freckles.

I can tell these companies are probably having fun seeing how many checked boxes they can get into a single season.

It's funny to see. (No issue with it)

Tough to prove but I would think there's a preference, consciously or not, on hiring skinny/not fat (+attractive) especially considering how for a lot of jobs the differences between candidates aren't even significant to begin with plus the difficulty with evaluating
