Florida School Shooting, Over 20 Casualties

Thought I'd take a peek at the nra website and this caught my eye. I'm not one to pull the race card but the racial undertones in this shirt is deafening. The whole front page of the site gives me this cold, bleak feeling. Hard to explain.

My theory on this country's obsession with guns is, and alwaysv will be this: two things aided in this country being 'founded', using guns to overpower native Americans to steal their land and a lack of conscience. The same way a cheater is paranoid about someone cheating on them, 'certain people' are scared that someone may come strong arm this country the way their ancestors did the natives. That's the only thing that can explain all these travel bans and such. They turn a blind eye to their own kind doing harm, just like any other race does.

I've learned that if you have no conscience and you're smart enough to not get caught , America is the country for you and you will thrive.

Most people tend to protect members of their race. Nothing hard to understand about that. The same reason Shannon is so passionate about his point is the same reason matt threw in that softening term as a subtle mean of justification. Turning this into a race debate is tacky and distasteful imo.

I'm pretty sure Shannon Sharpe pays someone to tweet/comment for him. Dude was completely different on CBS and since he got with FS1 and Skip he's completely revamped his online presence and public persona.

That orange piece of ish in the white house always likes to politicize tragedies but he can’t with this one because it involves someone white and guns. Someone else needs to politicize it and ask if firearms shouldn’t be sold to white males anymore.

I know nurses that have had to go to Mexico to get dental treatment, and employed nurses who complain about their health coverage.

Kinda like working in a shoe factory at the high end of the pricing range and only being able to afford flip flops.

I agree, man. It's absurd that people have to cross borders or go to the extremes for affordable medical services, yet we brag about how ADVANCED we are and don't have neccesities available to the public.

Everything HAS A PRICE and we have to deal with it whether we like it or not. Da Capitalist Movement...

Man, I have to laugh to keep from crying. Aside from money, I can't find a legitimate reason for this to persist. Even the British laws our gun laws mimic have been disbanded.

Never in a million years after seeing Columbine in the 1st or 2nd grade and then 20 years later still dealing with this ****!

This is so true. Thats why Trump is the perfect representation for the systems of this country. "I'm really rich" (even tho I filed bankruptcy 1000x and ripped ppl off)

Not even surprised he was a white supremacist. They're the original terrorist, the real terrorist in this world. All these mass shootings the last few years and white America will never address the problems within their own people. Just sit back and point the finger at black people or muslims or Latinos while giving a pass to the evil in their race.

He says the same stuff on TV though.

You talking some BS. You don't humanize a mass killer. This ain't race debate cuz their is no debate. America gives a pass to white violence. That's a fact and until they start to really address the history of violence they have this **** is gonna continue. It's almost like they're ok with these incidents happening as long as they can control the storyline.

"aww he was troubled, he was picked on, he was a nice kid"

Then go right back to pushing stereotypes about other groups.

Went to school in the hood. Metal detectors, cameras, bag check and police were a normal thing.
