It’s wild how schools in the hood have been criminalized since the late 90’s with metal detectors, gated windows, guards, and school lunch rat ressembles exactly how lunch in a prison is carried out and we grew up in that environment thinking is normal, I remember arriving at school in the freezing winter mornings at about 6am to stand on line for at least 45 minutes in order to get properly scanned and padded down and not miss my 0 period class which was at 7:15am I believe...for these schools in predominantly white neighborhoods to not have any of this was kind of mind blowing, I remember years after high school when I started driving and I discovered the burbs and came across Bronxville High, lord...I thought it was some joint out of a movie...lol always had me feeling like damn it must be nice....not anymore...lol

I also think metal detectors came to be in the hood with a rise in school stabbings if I remember correctly...not even mass shootings...almost a decade of mass shootings in white schools and these dudes refused to bring that prison life vibe to their schools....I mean DO SOMETHING.

Exactly, and they're doing the same thing now w/ Latinos, and using the term Hispanic because majority of people are ignorant and use both terms interchangeably. Main reason "white" people will never become the minority, hell, when things get really bad, they'll fight to make Puerto Rico a state.

I’ll try to keep this a to the point as possible
As I’ve said before there is no solution because the source of the problem is flawed in itself. This is not the first time this has happened in America. Back when schools were segregated the topic of debate was separation. They concluded that “separate but equal” would fix that..... it didn’t. The topic came back over and over until they realized that the initial problem was flawed to begin with, why the hell are the school separated in the first place????? Boom, real change happened.
To put it in even simpler terms it’s like being on a diet where you only eat cake and looking for the right kind of cake to eat to help you lose weight. The root of the matter is already flawed to begin with.
Here we are now talking about what guns are ok, what guns should be bought at what age, what guns should be banned, what guns are ok in what areas, blah blah blah. None of this solves the real problem.
“Bad people will get them if they want to” “it’s so easy to get” “the nice guys won’t be able to defend themselves anymore” yeah yeah, thanks. Let’s see it.
The constitution is as outdated as it gets and thats not debatable. History as taught to us is incorrect and that’s not debatable. Old whites want to keep things the way they are because it gets them paid. This country was built on tobacco, alcohol, slavery, and killing. Progress is there yet it’s stopped. We have kids that can build cars that run on cooking oil yet large companies refuse to use alternative sources of energy because oil industries have a hand in everything. Cigarettes have a 100% chance of negatively impacting someone’s life and costs us all millions in medical coverage yet are still in circulation because big tobacco has a hand in everything. Now here comes the NRA...... do I need to go over it again or are we tired of hearing about it all week? Ohhhh look, now we have a president that literally embodies all of that.... what a coincidence.
Another problem are these white families that raise their kids with dependacies on mood altering drugs to replace actual affection and discipline. They’re a missed dose away from huge problems with no ability to deal with any type of failure
All in all this is a long way of saying I don’t know. The real problem won’t be discussed or changed.

Ahhh ok... where to start....
1. So you give schools 20-30 guns minimum. 20-30 guns are now accessable to the kids and before you say they’ll be safely stored.... stop. No longer do these shooters need to bring a gun they’ll have them at the school for easy access
2. Who’s paying for this training? Lol they won’t even pay them to do bus duty. “Rigours training” LOL when?? These are teachers not killers. You’re paying someone 30k a year and want them to kill on command? What world are you living in?
3. What will be the policy for use? More kids will be shot than ever. “Life threatening” is a term that can be tossed around for every situation. Trayvon (spelling) ring a bell?
Again, deterrents are far more effective than offense. You want to keep the school safe, lock it down. This delusional idea that more guns solve the problem of attaining guns in the first place is idiotic

The “arm the teachers” rhetoric is amongst the most moronic things I’ve ever heard, but it lines up perfectly with the pro-gun, conservative, MAGA crowd, bunch of imbeciles...my sister in law is a teacher in the Bronx, she’s a 29 year old girl terrified of weapons, like her there are MANY...she said she’ll quit before bringing a gun to her classroom, becoming a teacher should NEVER be associated with warfare or anti-terrorism of any kind, their job is to teach...not to get into a gun fight...
