FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

idk, I had a real piece of wagyu last December at a real nice steak house, was not a fan. Although it was a bit cold I took a piece from my brother and it had a really diff taste

had a ribeye that night, literally amazing wish I had a picture. Might be back going in the next month or two so hopefully I remember to take some pictures

Depends on the kind of Wagyu you had. If it's American, then yeah it's good but not worth the price. Australian and Japanese Wagyu is top botch

im 99% sure it was Australian, is it supposed to have a different flavor from regular beef?

It's still beef, so for the most part, the taste will be the same. The quality is what differs because of the marbling of the fat. Japanese has better marbling. The more marbling, the more tender it is. It melts like butter.

Isn't there only a few places in the states that actually sell authentic Japanese wagyu?

Probably a handfull, and I think two are in Vegas and one in New York. There are a few meat delivey services that sell the real deal though.

crowdcow.com is one of them.

wouldn't buy it anyways too much fat

Australian at least got a ton of marbling with some meat

I went to sushi once and splurged on some tuna sashimi with a higher end cut of tuna. Apparently, It has a much higher fat content that the normal sushi tuna. I don’t know that I’d say the flavor was much better, but it did melt in my mouth like nothing I’d had before. So, that was cool...

How does this taste? I’m admittedly really picky with greens. Most taste straight up gross to me  so I’m always iffy about green powders

I like green tea drinks and spinach. Might just cop some green tea extract and a couple bags of spinach and call it a day

I don’t even know if these taste like real green tea but I love these. A cold one :pimp: :pimp:

Cappellini with arabiatta sauce and canned basil tuna, love this kind of meal super cheap but delicious (same with crumbled bacon and eggs or chopped off sausage/steak)

Love red onions and yellow peppers, but as I wasn't the only one to eat didn't add them...
Put way too much oil though...
