FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

anybody ever used Jamaican jerk rub seasoning on sirloin steak before? Or any beef in general?

Yes.

Jerk is a sauce/seasoning for any/everything.

What are you thinking of doing?

My photo, and taken the I want to take it. I would think you’d appreciate that.

:smh:

You won't get the full effect.

You should have gotten the Paste.

Also, you don't let your chicken smoke on the grill when you cook it.

So you will just end up having jerk seasoned chicken thighs.

Don't expect much.

i got a recipe for the paste im going to utilize with that stuff

im gonna try the indirect method

Sear first, let finish on indirect side.

I appreciate you never taking stuff personally.

Post pics when you feel comfortable. (Of paste and chickens)

From 2018...

"On Friday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued an emphatic reminder on social media to home cooks about how to prevent food poisoning while cooking chicken."

"Don't wash your raw chicken!" the government organization tweeted. "Washing can spread germs from the chicken to other food or utensils in the kitchen."
