Because it’s not cooked that way - it’s almost like a seafood boil marinated in BBQ sauce.

I cooked New York steak with seasonings and Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce with sweet potatoes, gold to be specific, this evening.
I always use a cast iron skillet to cook steaks.
I let it cool off a little before I begin slicing it.

I went to New Orleans for the first time 2 years ago and I swear the BBQ shrimp was probably my favorite thing I ate.

Some build your own bowl Mediterranean spot opened near me cled Mezeh. Kinda like a chipotle. Got shredded lamb bowl. They put sauces on the side got some called Harissa sauce and it was good
