the USMNT game has me stressed out..... so I'll post the weird pics @Bravelude wanted to see.
when I was younger I used to take my once or twice a year visits to HK for granted, now I strangely miss it..... maybe not the food necessarily but I miss the place.

and then my cousin ordered it. FML

When I was younger, for a few years I used to spend the summers and the fall semester of grade school at an international school in HK.
I was super close with my grandma, and she would always tell me I would ******* die if I ate a bone from a fish.
That was probably the #1 thing I held on to after I stopped going back to HK and I stay the hell away from steamed fish now.
I think I posted this before, but prob worth reposting.
These were sea snails and they were probably the worst thing I've ever put in my mouth tbh
some sort of dehydrated fish. Reminded me of jerky. I kinda liked it tbh

it was gross and strange to eat. Would not recommend.
pissing shrimp.
They squirt out water or some sort of liquid when you start cooking them of taking them out of water I think.
I thought the giant carved carrot was cool, so I took a picture.
this was deep fried stomach or something, it was weird but I didn't hate it.
