FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Since we're talking fried chicken, KFC is garbage. I don't know how they're in business.

The local grocery store makes better fried chicken
It might be because I don't eat it as often, but KFC is my favorite out of the major fried chicken restaurants.

Just sucks they give out small pieces of chicken.

High income fried chicken $14 for 6 of them!

This looks perfect. Crispy without the extra grease.

I went to a local fried chicken spot that was selling 5 "whole wings" for 20 bucks. Just because a magazine says you're one of the best doesn't give you a pass to charge those prices

Air fried bacon and potatoes. The eggs were not air fried. I'm not on that level yet.

My Uncle got the tray that allows the air fryer to fry the eggs. So now he cooks everything in his. I had to witness it with my own eyes.

The man haven’t turn on his stove/oven since he got the pressure cooker, too.

You don’t think the method of cooking it matters?

Actually the way I cook regular fried chicken is the exact same way I fried Japanese fried chicken. The Japanese fried chicken taste and looks as it should - that’s because of the different batter.

Anybody can bless us with the process?

I thought you were arguing for air frying chicken?

Only thing I know is the double fry method. First fry at a lower temp.
