Looks like the type of spot that would have a plantain tart which I haven't had in forever. Was the gizzada digaldem flavored?

A little too sweet. They do have plantain tarts. Wasnt planning on grabbing any sweets but i noticed then from outside passing by. Last time i stopped by they didnt have anything so i had to grab some.

Ill never forget being like 12 or 13yrs old and in line to buy a patty and an old Jamaican man being so excited they had goat patties. He was so hype, probably took him back seeing that cuz i cant think of anywhere else ive seen here that has em.

Olive Garden gets a bad rep but personally I enjoy their minestrone soup with bread and salad. Also that black tie mousse cake and the tiramisu with a cappuccino.

The deli next to my barber shop makes Belgian fries and they are elite. Also ordered a grand canyon hero (fried chicken cutlet, bacon, cheddar ranch). Fried chicken with bacon and cheese gotta be the unofficial sandwich of long island. In suffolk there's a popular one called the gasm. In my area of nassau we got the bindy sandwich.

In Reno NV and stopped at a place called Pine State Biscuit. It was amazing, my wife got a biscuit sandwich ( Biscuit, Bacon,Fried Chicken,Cheddar Cheese, spicy sausage gravy) While I opted for the Shrimp and Grits.

Vice has a new show called "Devoured" showing links between true crime and food. Episode 1 deals with NY Pizza joints and the Mob. On vice channel now.

Pine State Biscuit is the truth. I had it when I went to Portland a few years back. I can honestly say that’s Top 5 fried chicken in the country.
