Yeah a lot of those places that use those fancy taco stands, I associate with trying to turn the simple into more than it needs to be, something you'd find at a bougie brunch spot where they'd also have a maple glazed fried chicken over lavender infused waffles plate  :smh:

No need to dress these plates up.

Chaufa con pollo

Street tacos: Cabeza de res, cecina, chorizo

Cabeza de res taco

Avocado

The G.O.A.T.: Costco Combo Pizza

Sinigang na baboy (Pork and tamarind soup)

Grilled pompano and eggplant

McDonald's Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich

Tocino and longaniza

Halal Guys Mixed Platter after a long night of drinking; always hits the spot

this guy knows I'm in NJ but aint eem trine invite me for that der taco and filipino food smh

I'm not tripping about the tacos. I know the difference being from Los Angeles. But I'm on the east coast and it's pretty rare to find authentic Mexican here.

Anyone in the DMV able to point me in the direction of a good breakfast spot? I stay in Silver Spring, but will venture out to wherever.

Finally caught up to this thread after stumbling into it 2 months ago. Straight food porn that I can't participate it. I think i could eat 2% of what's posted in here due to food allergies.

Can't have tomatoes, anything with citrus, fruits. That pretty much means I can;t have mexican food, italian food, or BBQ. Anything that has taste because of a marinade is pretty much out of the question.

I live vicariously through you guys.

Whenever I see In-N-Out posted, I know what its like. Just no tomatoes or spread when I eat my 3x3.

I can't tell you how much it sucks moving from California to Northern VA and not having a reliable taco spot. |I :frown:
