Ok this is going to sound so weird. But i have like a phobia like something about it creeps me out. I will not eat in cafeteria or anything made there.

I always lose my appetite whenever I go to a hospital. Been that way since I was a kid. My body just can't get hungry in a hospital setting. Glad to read I ain't the only one, lol.

As I said above, a lot of hospitals have crappy food, but there are some exceptions that's I've experienced. The giant teaching hospitals in LA like Cedars and UCLA have made an effort to improve their cafeterias in recent years. You can get a variety of made-to-order hot food at both places during regular lunch and dinner hours. I've had some good meals both places. With there being a shortage in the healthcare workforce in a lot of places, having decent food is something places are starting to push as a perk for recruiting purposes.

People do too much to go viral and these places have processes, so yeah I get them not wanting to do every little silly concoction. This however isn't that out there for a note.

Anyone else do coffee other than traditional drip or Keurig? I have a traditional drip and a Keurig, but my favorite is when I have time to either make an espresso or French press.

The food in Cedars is nice.
One of my hospitals has a food court with different options including chikfila, dunkin, pizza and a thai restaurant.
Actual hospital cafeteria food, which one of my hospitals does have is almost inedible even for free.
