This is one of the most pompous, arrogant statements I've ever read. No wonder everyone hates Lakers fans.

No wonder no one gives a @#$% what you think.

Asking for an equal playing field and no excuses is pompous?

Whats funny is that the Celtics still ARE better than the Lakers. Lakers fans getting upset over something they're not a part of... Until you all can beat the Celtics in another series, (with a healthy KG) than they still have your card.

They are STILL the superior team over yall.

I don't think he's done...

He still has 1-2 good years left in him. From the report (and I'm aware some of you probably think that's just Doc covering up for him) it sounds likeit's just stiffness. Yes, it is a 82-game season, but this guy sat for a HUGE chunk of the season last year if we're including playoffs. He's notgoing to be completely ready to take on everything yet....they have to bring him along slow.

If I was a Celtics fan I wouldn't be concerned one bit about anything in that video.

If this was any other player i would feel bad for the dude but $!#@ KG man..dude is a punk
Im sure if some player was limping around like that in a game, KG was be in his ear.

Well I just finished watching the real training camp online with the Celtics. KG wasnt flying down the court but he didnt look anything like that video either.Doc Rivers said that KG is having some shin splint issues from the knees. I am not saying whether thats the case or a cover up. I dont think he is 90% like heis saying , maybe 75-80%

OWNED!

I respected KG until he went to the Celtics, I feel like his attitude changed in a bad way. He was too cocky and straight arrogant about things, so he had thiscoming.

I think he'll be back though, I don't think it's over quite yet for KG.

yall are dumb if you think thats from the same injury..or any injury. he would not be out there.

As a Lakers fan, Im born to hate the C's. But I've always loved KG's game and had mad respect for him. That's sad news if he really wont beable to come back 100%.

I just think with all the stopping and starting, the older guys, that's tough.''

i have the same injury as KG.... and that stuff lingers. I ref basketball, and whenever halftime hits I'm done running

my kneescompletely lock up and i pretty much look like KG running. The guy needs to get checked up by a specialist again

As much I hate KG now that he's a Celtic. I don't think he's done at all. There's probably lingering soreness and/or shin splits, like wasmentioned, as both can affect his running gait. When I first saw him running, it looked like he was heavily favoring the knee, but it didn't look like hewas grimacing in pain or showed visible discomfort. Hopefully dude comes back full force, it'll end all debate between who's truly the dominant team, leaving all the "If only..." and "But..." arguments in the dust.

i hate KG, i hate the Celtics.... but I hate career ending injuries more. Hope KG gets better! I like watch good quality intense basketball with teams at fullstrength even if its a team I hate.

Eh, seems like you think he's overrated because you don't like his attitude.

He's not overrated one bit. At his peak, he mastered every aspect of the game of basketball except posting up.

I don't disagree(although he's not a dead eye 3 pt shooter) but that, bolded part, is kind of a problem for someone who's 7 foot no?

That's exactly what I thought when I read that post. To me, the fact that, offensively, KG's never been much more than a jump shooter significantlyimpairs his legacy. Anyway, as for the thread, I did not think the video looked that bad. I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that Garnett's washed upyet.

I just saw real training camp on NBA TV with the Boston Celtics, he seemed to be running fine, they had a 5 on 5 scrimmage and he was limping lightly. But notnearly as much as he did in the video.

...And I seldom, if ever dole out any stonefaces. Couple Iverson with two other would-be Hall of Famers during his prime (the end of it, at thelatest) and see what he would end up with. The fact of the matter is the only reason KG is getting a past from the mainstream media is because of what team hebrought the championship to a couple of seasons ago, instead of who he was as a player for every other year of his career.
