The reply I removed was no more offensive than the ones you still have up - except that you included racial slurs.  You obviously can't produce any other explanation because there is no other explanation.  It's a difficult balance to strike, because we want to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable contributing to the site, but we also want to use NikeTalk's diversity to the community's advantage by allowing these types of challenging discussions to take place rather than simply closing the topics and/or banning those who've expressed bigoted and inflammatory positions.   However, that doesn't mean that all bets are off and the rules don't apply.
As for the "coward" stuff, why on Earth should I post my picture?  Have you?  MOST of our members have never posted their pictures on NikeTalk.  Who cares?  It's not eHarmony.

If you're still mad, you can take it up with my supervisor.

Oh, right... well, in that case you're welcome to take your business to ISS.  I hear they have forum where you can post all the racial slurs you want!  It's right after the "post your hotwheels collection" threads.  Have fun!

what makes you think its even something to agree/disagree with?

Everyone has an opinion on something. Being gay is odd but every day its pushed to become more and more normalized but not everyone is accepting these pushes. I always throw out the incest comparison because it reflects two consensual adults that a lot of people might give the

about. Moms and sons Grandfathers and granddaughters all over the age of 18 in sexual relationships, how long before people are going to accept that as natural. You can do you, and I'm not trying to hold anyone back but that doesn't mean you get full pledged support.

On topic: Kobe said a word that 90% of the population knows what he meant, knows what it means in the context he said it but they're just reaching. It has nothing to do with being gay and he's no more wrong for saying that than any four letter cuss word on camera.

honest question...no attitude or anything behind it...

what makes you think its even something to agree/disagree with?
Because it does not effect only the people involved. It is a movement in America that in recent years has taken the forefront in American culture. The media in particular has ran with it because it is a polarizing issue, further bring it into the spotlight. Just look at the attention the "Don't ask don't tell", prop 8, and the suicides got just recently.

Just like abortion, marijuana legislation, stem cell research, War on terror ,etc.. It is an issue that brings out very strong feelings/reactions and everyone has a right to have an opinion. It is an issue that affects the whole country.

Whether your like me and have a negative view on it, or like Anton and agree with it, everybody has the right to voice their opinion, in particular on an issue like this

i asked a friend: what if nambla members or people that engage in beastiality began to fight for rights? will their lifestyle choices, with enough pushing and fighting, become socially acceptable, too? where does one draw the line? just some things i wonder.

So two consenting adults having sex=having sex with a child or an animal, both of which are psychologically immature/incapable of giving consent.

Another intelligent response, congratulations.

The funny part is that about 30 pages ago you quoted a portion of my reply where I used the same "racial slur" you deleted my post for...

...how you let it rock then and delete it pages later is beyond me, but whatever.

If a dude pulls a gun on me unexpectedly, my heart would skip, ie, for that split second I'd be afraid - does that mean I live my everyday life as a "coward?" Far from it...

...I never called you a "coward" or typed the word - so where you got that from is your own personal hang-up and not mine - don't put words in my mouth/keyboard.

And

at askin' me if I've ever posted my picture on here - we both know the answer to that, go 'head wit that +*!%%$%$ youngin'...

It is an issue that affects the whole country.

the only reason its a movement is because people have an opinion on something that doesn't matter...

how does it effect the whole country? if everyone was minding their own there would be no need for Prop 8 or Don't Ask Don't Tell
