No idea if that is accurate.

For UGA....

Hamilton was a JUCO. Starter at FS to open the year. Lost the job due to being garbage.
Houston

was a RS.

LeMay is the only certain EE I know for 2011.

UNC 2010: TJ Leifheit (OG), Sean Fitzpatrick (TE), James Hurst (OG), DJ Bunn (S), Brandon Willis (DT).

Hurst ended up starting for us. Leifheit and Fitzpatrick redshirted, but they both should have great shots at playing time next year. DJ Bunn got in earlier in the season and wasn't very good. Brandon Willis ended up transferring to UCLA.

UNC 2011: Marquise Williams (QB), TJ Thorpe (WR), Landon Turner (OT), Travis Riley (RB). Possible pending commitment: Jack Tabb (TE) and Travis Hughes (LB).

Gunna- You'll find this like useful: http://footballrecruiting...?SID=880&CID=1043698 Looks like we all found the same link.

"Coach Muschamp is someone we targeted from the beginning and he is the guy we wanted. He is the only person we met with and the only person we offered the job to," he said.

So Florida didn't interview any minority candidates? Mark May (as well as a lot of others) threw a huge fit about TAMU not interviewing any minorities...wonder if he'll do the same with Florida.

Good shot on the link .. all of u

Report: Health a factor for Urban Meyer

Associated Press

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Urban Meyer is walking away from Florida because of health concerns, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.

ESPN.com's Chris Low writes about all things SEC in his conference blog.

Meyer has a recurring burning sensation in his chest that doctors told him last week would raise cardiovascular risk factors if he continued to coach, the person told The Associated Press Sunday on condition of anonymity because Meyer's health issues are confidential.

The Gainesville Sun first reported the story.

Meyer announced his resignation Wednesday and said health was not the reason he was walking away. He said he wanted to spend more time with his family.

The person with knowledge of Meyer's health said the coach can resolve his chest pain with "constant monitoring," which he already has started doing.

Meyer first resigned Dec. 27, 2009, three weeks after he was rushed to a hospital because of chest pain. He changed his mind the following day and instead decided to take a leave of absence. He scaled back some, but changed little about his work habits once the season began.

Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley said Wednesday that Meyer has worked his tail off.

"You think of what he's rebuilt. He built one at Bowling Green, he built one at Utah, he built one here," Foley said. "It's not just sacrifices here the last six years. That's 10 years of their lives, not to mention what he did before that as an assistant coach. It's his time to step back and spend time with his family. You're not getting it back. I admire him for that."

Meyer hasn't ruled out coaching again. His future likely will be tied to his health. Meyer was diagnosed with esophageal spasms in January and began taking medicine to treat them.

The person with knowledge of Meyer's health said the spasms have been under control, but other symptoms have lingered. Those prompted Meyer to talk with doctors and family members, and then he decided that continuing to coach at his current pace would be too risky.

Meyer will coach his final game in the Outback Bowl on Jan. 1 against Penn State, but he intends to remain in Gainesville and continue to work in the athletic department.

Florida hired Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp to succeed Meyer on Saturday. Muschamp has the dubious task of replacing Meyer after 64 wins and two national championships in six seasons.

if true. Get well Urb. Crazy that he could burn himself out so young. I think he'll be back in a couple years though.

Chris Mortenson reporting Andrew Luck might return to Stanford.

Jake Locker needs to give him a call and tell him to re-think that decision.

No need for Luck to make a decision this soon. Unless he's concerned about the lockout stuff, there's no reason for him to stay.

Even before the coaching turnover at UT, the TAMU staff supposedly felt like they had a good chance of flipping Steve Edmond. Well, one of our Rivals mods talked to him last night, and he had this to say:

Everyone's been trying to get in touch with him and I got lucky.

I'm going to do an article with Perroni for the network and not for the site because of the following quotes from him:

I asked him if he decommitted who he would be looking at and he said USC and Auburn. I asked him about Oklahoma and A&M and he said "I told A&M not to call me last week."

I asked him what about Shayvion Hatten (his Daingerfield teammate) being committed to A&M and his reply was

"I don't care. He can go there if he wants to. I just don't like them. I just don't know why. I just don't like them."

He may be in play as soon as tomorrow but apparently not for A&M...

Awesome

Also, there are rumors that Malcolm Brown is backing out of his commitment to UT, and (just Rivals dip****s trying to make Longhorns nervous) Jordan Hicks is on his way back to Columbus (transfer to Ohio State?).

Luck's a fool if he stays..his stock can't get any hire and his number won't get that much better another yr in that offensive system...shannon to tex? Hmmmmm....Hope it works out for him....

Somebody else said that Edmond told one reporter something along the lines of, "A&M writes me the most, but I don't read the letters. I just throw them in the trash."

And the staff supposedly felt really good about flipping this kid

so what you're saying is there's a chance...?

This week has been pretty funny as an A&M fan. I know a lot of you don't care to read, so I'll just put the events in a spoiler.

Spoiler [+]
-Josh Stewart switches to Oklahoma State, calling OSU his "dream school."
-Floyd Raven, considered to be an Aggie as long as LSU didn't offer, decides to verbal to Ole Miss on his official. Supposedly Ole Miss had quit recruiting him after getting 5 other DB commits in the class.
-Marcus Kennard, Juco WR, considered to be an Aggie lean, commits to Texas Tech on his official.
-A&M has about 5 uncommitted recruits or recruits committed to another school in town for officials, and fails to do anything with any of them.
-The mess at Texas (which is actually looking to turn out pretty well for Texas).
-The one recruit that all Aggie fans want to flip from UT (Steve Edmond) basically says "F A&M."
-Another recruit that some wanted (Quincy Russell) says that he'll take a look at Baylor, and probably not A&M.
-Speculation of Shaun Ward ending up somewhere else.

So much for the "just win and everything else will take care of itself" crew's mentality

Their inability to recruit this class is mind-bottling. They've literally never had this much trouble getting anybody in Texas to look at them. It's crazy off of three really good classes to start Sherman's tenure and supposedly a boatload of interest from top Texas kids in 2012... It doesn't make sense.

Taking 3 months to replace the defensive staff cost them Corey Nelson and had them comfortably behind the 8-ball to start 2011, but still not being able to get anything going after finally putting something good together on the field is just flat out strange.
