Dude, your a Houston homer. Olajuwon is the same age as Malone. Those Utah team's weren't exactly full of young dudes themselves. Barkely and Olajuwon were the same exact age as Malone and Stockton. Those Houston squads were the the Boston Celtics (Garnett, Allen, Ray) before the Boston Celtics. Hall of fame players getting together later in their career trying to make a run at it. Those teams under achieved immensely. In a 4 year span, that team had Drexler, Pippen, Olajuwon and Barkely, at least once they should have been able to get to the finals. Olajuwon, especially being the best of those bunch takes a hit somewhat for that, don't see how you could deny that.Originally Posted by Statis22
By time Barkley and Pippen got here everybody was in decline. When Pippen got here Drexler retired. The Jazz had planted themselves as the best team in the West at that time.
