ill have to go check out the first book tomorrow. i love reading, and now that i don't have a tv i don't have anything to distract me from it.

They keep very close to the books thus far, so if you enjoy the show, you'll enjoy the books most likely.
I would whole-heartedly recommend them. Just understand once you get half-way through the second, you'll find hours seem to go by faster than you'd think.
I finished the first 3 before there was a fourth. I really need to re-read and get caught up.

Peeped the first episode the other day and I liked it. Got Ep2 on the DVR. Looks like its gonna be good.

Tyrion does not really come into himself until the second book. By far, the best character in the series. Arya is a close second though.

the show is def building up. this episode wasnt as solid like the previous ones, but i guess they need to slow down the action to let the plots build up more. the blonde girls brother got handled when he tried to go ham on her and then was told nope now u walk lol
