This might be a random question for this thread, but I'm hoping someone can help me with my confusion.

This is what my DVD cover/box-set looks like. Notice, it does not have the blue Blu-ray banner on top. However, all of the discs say Blu-Ray on them.

For the record, I bought this months ago (I'm talking back in November) at a Wal-mart, and I just opened it now, out of the saran wrap, so it's a legit copy, I'm just confused.

What gives?

I have no idea what that means.
I would like to know what are some good movies titles that are worthy of being displayed on an HDTV.
The only reccomendation I've got so far is Casino Royale.
Cloudy with a chance of meatballs and I'm not joking I've watched this movie like 5 times and I just got my HDTV in March...I have to get the 3d blu ray next

My HDTV only has one HDMI input, I have a PS3 and FiOS HD. I'm getting tired of switching out all the time, is there something I can buy so that I can switch input modes from my TV?

^there's no quality loss that i can notice. i haven't felt the need to look into other HDMI switches since buying the one from monoprice. only complaint i have about it is that the LEDs on the front needed to be electrical taped because they were bright as hell. other than that, it works exactly as advertised.

Is there anything I can do to make the current bulb I have last longer I'm at school/work most of the day so I usually watch tv for a couple hours a day and I'm worried because me room is extremely hot will that do damage to the tv

Anyone have the LG 47LV5500? Thinking about pulling the trigger, but I want to hear some opinions on it first.

Ordered the Samsung PN59D7000 (plasma), 3D kit, and 3D blu ray player bundle off Amazon. Says it will be here between the 15-20th. ANXIOUSLY waiting.

PN59D7000 came this morning.  Blown away by it without any real calibration yet.
Running break in slides right now.  Going to give it a good 150-200 hours of use before calibrating, but wow, this TV is awesome.

^ I need a stand that will fit my Center speaker... Guess ill have to wait til i get a bigger TV though. Big #*% stand like that would look stupid with my 42" panny.
