When this boils over, I hope people can reflect on how dumb they ******* acted by hoarding specific items. I really hope people can say to themselves “I acted like a dumb***”

This feels like a test run tho. The first time most of us have experienced something like this but won’t be the last. This is a learning lesson for me tho. From now on, I’m always going to keep a decent stock. I usually keep 2 cases of water with me at all time. Going forward, I might have to up that amount. I also will see invest in a deep freezer. Seeing people act how they’re acting is scarier than the virus itself

imo anyone in california should've had these items already (water, food for 2-4 weeks).

Watched the Irishman. Killed a solid 3.5 hours. But yeah other than that it's been pretty miserable and boring. Probably gonna take the dog on a hike tomorrow AM just to get out.

I watched a good anount of this, took a long as nap, and this movie was still playing, took another nap, woke up and still playing. Thought it started over but no.

Seen like 6 chicks wasted next to the bars in the west village. Dumb af, though a TON of people out in parks and usual hang out spots in NYC, only places I see people really avoiding are retail spaces and restaurants. Brunch restaurants excluded apparently.

I went to the park downtown today, surprisingly a lot of kids, parents and people in general. I shot some hoops for a bit, got some ice cream and went to a bookstore. Sanitized my hands if I even touched a doorknob, also tried to distance myself from people as much as I could.

Bottomless Mimosa'a & Bloody Mary's pack a lot of Vitamins to combat C19.

People self quarantining without even any symptoms for 2 weeks like this virus will suddenly vanish when they decide to step out or like they building some sort of immunity while at home are ****** idiots, they not even doing it to protect others from themselves, but to protect themselves from others

Or....maybe they don’t want to put themselves at risk of catching it as it begins to peak which could in turn lead to them infecting others. I don’t think it’s dumb or a reach at all but I may be in the minority.

If you're leaving your house for any reason, take proper precautions. I know it was mentioned a billion times online and in the media to wash hands, sanitize, 6 feet distance, No face touching, etc but it's necessary

A friend I know said he knows a chick who tested positive for COVID And she went home to rest for ONE day then went about her business after bc her symptoms were light. So don't trust nobody you bump into in public even if that's your Boy

yeah, my neighbor was leaving his crib and said he was making a Del Taco run. Me and my wife probably had "Why **** Head" on our foreheads. First, why are you even eating that crap covid virus or not, and two, you have a 2 year old and 4 month old. Come on man. I was going to invite him to my house for a real meal (Pot roast from the slow cooker) but thought if he's making that type of decision right now, what type of decisions has he been making the last 2 weeks? And his wife is a nurse and extremely worried about this virus. I said enjoy.....

Del Taco?!?!?!
I almost stopped at McDonalds for an egg McMuffin. It happens lol.

It's sad out there. Went and picked up some Chinese takeout. I was their third order of the day. One of the best reviewed places in town too. Nearby a Chuck e cheese was fairly packed. Two other breweries had 4 cars combined. Kind of dead out there traffic wise. My area has 10 confirmed cases. Walmart and other grocery stores remain packed to the gills.

I think we return from this in a whole new world. Recession beyond repair.

How are Uber eats and doordash doing? Are people really hunkering down? I applaud the effort. But at what cost? You'll head out of hibernation to zero restaurants and stores.

yep did Otr for 8 months wasn’t for me . Then worked at coke and red bull making local deliveries . Got in the oilfield ( offshore in 2012 ) but to get in the oilfield in Texas you need a cdl for 80% of the jobs . The truck thing is something I do on the side , I franchise 2 subways and have a coordinator job at mid size oil company so I have a few different streams of income coming in .

yeah otr isn’t for me, never done it. Did regional tanker work and that was enough sleeping in the truck and dirty *** truck stops for me.

then went to readymix, the work was cool but the company was insane. Now I’m at a small mom n pop paving job running machines and hauling whatever which is more my speed.

sounds like you know your way around the oil business. :pimp:

my pops used to work in refineries then he went to school now he designs them.

Yeah, there are tons of people on reddit saying his response was amazing and that the Democrats just want to complain about everything he does. #Cult45

not sure if serious...

this is not for 2 weeks. more like 1-2 months. if morons continue going out and about, it will be longer than 2 months. and regardless, we're never going back to normal. hopefully close to normal, but not all the way. lots of people have covid and don't know it. lots of people have a regular cold or allergies and haven't been tested.

i'm vastly reducing how much i go out, especially today, when a bunch of drunk idiots are packing bars so that the # of confirmed cases will triple by next weekend. i'll try to still patronize places when they're not busy but of course take precautions.

UberEats, DoorDash and Caviar are killing it for me since I’m on business travel and I don’t cook. I get it - delivery is not going to be the same as if you sit down but the difference isn’t as significant as some try to make it seem. I know I saw Domino’s stock was up the other day and realized over the last few weeks they were like Michael Bloomberg with the ad blitz  . I am not too concerned, though.

Got a big as box of oatmeal and a whole bunch of forozen and non perishable food. I’m good for a min on food. Also on tp and wipes. Worse case can use a wash cloth to wash my *** if tp nerve restocks.
