I can somewhat get this but me living in DC (maybe other major cities) there are so many different friend groups or organizations with young black young professionals. It's cool to chill with the homies but it also good to have women around to settle the mood. I like kicking it with my dawgs but I don't mind female friends in the mix if I'm hosting or setting up a cool vibe around the city.

This not a shot at you but at my age I can have female friends that I am not hopping to smash or get into a relationship with. Plus they be brining the salads, side, and other dishes I do not want to cook/order. Also your post seems more like trust issues

to be fair, when i’m with my boys, if we’re not talkin about sports or current events, we’re roastin each other, talkin about chicks we used to smash and definitely gossiping about other people’s business

my circle of friends has gotten a lot smaller as ive aged, and while most of my homies are men i still have a small contingent of homies that are women, who i hit up frequently, and its all platonic. tbh, there are times when i prefer the company of a woman to get a dose of different energies and perspectives. from my experience, my conversations with my women friends have a different depth to them.. not necessarily better or worse, just different.

fwiw, one of closest friends is a woman, probably would be one of my grooms-folk should i ever get married. she’s queer so it can only be platonic lol

Coworker asked if I wanted to hang out with her and her girlfriends.

first few years in my life i am actually craving some familiar and not strange.
been there done that. after a substantial body count i figure theres no more cool points, theres no accolades, theres no bragging rights nothing, just kinda grow out of it. im 35. and when i was traveling for work and landed in small college towns, id be literally making appointments.

wild life. but lately i have been trying to have monogamous relationships. the first 2 didnt really pan out the way i wanted. tried 2 totally opposites. the latter didnt do anything wrong we got along well and she make bank, but towards the end of the first year i just realized genetically we didnt make sense. like our kids would of been cute but perhaps not athletic or tall.

i say that to say, in the bigger scheme of things, eventually that number you reach ends up being a disservice and only does more harm. im totally against porn now too even tho i have my relapses when wifey out of town. i feel like i just go to a point where im ok chilling at a bar and just giving my presence for a bit then going home to chill. happy hunting gents!

I did a couple cursory searches and opulent find anything. The only saving grace is that if he was west coast and flying out of LAX post-2014 then there’s a chance he could have gotten a direct flight on a 787 (probably would have been pricey AF doe).
