I'm 6' 195 and I can rep 275 10 times on the first set and about 7 times on the second. I haven't maxed out in years but I sure its in the mid 300s

(except for a few that are clearly telling the truth).

Let's try, who can bench press properly.
When it comes to training I can spot exaggerations......erm lies...when I see 'em.

Training didn't include much bench (mostly dumbells for chest training) but on a bar my max was around 280 at 175 lbs.

Let's talk about deadlift, front squat, back squat, clean & jerk, and and snatch (
laugh.gif
) I'm sure I've got all you crushed lb for lb.

only timed i've ever benched was in like 8th grade, and i barely did the bar

wow nice how much do you incline

We never maxed on incline.
But we always had sets of 8 or 12
Weight increasing each rep of sets.
On average I my last set would be 265lbs.

If youre looking to figure out how much you "think" you should be lifting.
Nt will not help you out at all. Some people on here never lifted a weight a day in their
life while others may do it every other day.
Therefore you may get someone who is 6'4' 250 only benching max 135. Or someone who's 5'8' 175 doing 300.
get my point?
lol nah i'm not a rookie to lifting at all, my posts in here are jokes. 425 is very solid tho, congrats.

To someone who doesnt lift weights 425 may come off as alot. But trust me it isnt.
I know senior kids in highschool who can bench this with no prob.

You're probably the powerlifting champion of the world and anyone in this thread would be crazy to mess with you.

I'm assuming for 1 rm?

If you squat all the way (back of thigh touching calf) then that's damn good for your weight. Should be proud.

Don't do 1 rm that much but last time I did it:

bench - 280

front squat- 159 kilos (around 360)

back squat- 195 kilos ( aroudn 430)

deadlift- 261 kg (around 575) -- my grip ain't that great either. Try pinching plates and static holds with the bar. It helps a ton. Also, go with the hookgrip.

The weight equipment is in kilos where I train so I'm not too familiar with the lbs aspect. Just multiply by 2.2 is all I know.
laugh.gif

I've been at it for a while, so........

I'm around 5'9, 145 pounds, and i'm not that muscular but I've been working out nonstop the last two months and went from benching 135 to 205for eight reps.
