i think the best way to approach a complete stranger, is to make them think youre not trying to hit on them,
and make them not feel vulnerable,
when you do this, you make them think that theyre in control when youre the one pulling the strings on them.
you can do this by asking them a question, directions, something simple, not so complicated but still will make them think. you break the ice like that.
asking her something about what shes wearing, (nothing in appropriate, sexual or in a straight up way), if youre gonna complement her, keep it professional,
once the ice is broken, its all down hill from there.
