Granted, GSM doesn't do Sprint a whole lot of good in the States, but swapping a CDMA radio into HTC's first WiMAX effort here would make for a downright mighty response to the Touch HD. The previously-seen T8920 has turned out to be the MAX 4G, an 800 x 480 monster with 8GB of Flash on board, two cameras, an FM radio, GPS, WiFi, triband EDGE, and -- most importantly -- WiMAX support, making it the first GSM / WiMAX handset anywhere in the world. It'll be launching on Scartel's Yota network in Russia, and if you have friends cool enough to have a MAX 4G of their own, calls between the two of y'all will automatically be routed over the WiMAX airwaves using VoIP. A launch date hasn't been announced, but unless you're in Russia, there's probably not much point in even bothering to lust after this one

I wonder if me calling usually in the afternoon has anything to do with it. Maybe they have a set quota of customers to retain by any means and once they reach it, they don't have to go as far. I have Sero and this girl was like "No I canonly give you $50 off"

Im god for the $150 upgrade in like 6 months.

If I tell them to cancel Im scared they might say OK and I will be out of SERO for good.....

Man I tried calling retention to "cancel" and got nothing out of it but 150.00 off the Touch Pro's regular price which would've left mepaying 429.99.I passed that.Hung up and spoke to another rep, who then told me I can't receive a better deal than that,nor could I bump up my renew dayfrom January to now because I apparently get too many discounts already.I only get 20% off my bill from my job.So i asked to speak to their supervisor, only tobe sent to a voice mail system.So I'm waiting on my callback.

Looks like I'll be waiting til January 1st.

dam i guess there really is no way for us SERO users huh?? i dont know what to do then.. well hopefully my mogul magically comes to life.

i wonder though, if i get on with retentions, make a claim about not knowing about insurance for phones, would it be possible they give me a deal on a newphone? its looking like most of you guys on here and on the other forums arent having too much luck getting really really good deals if youre not due for anupgrade.. i had sprint, went to cingular for a few years and then came back with sprint with sero, but come dec itll be one year.

^Crap. 2 or 3 YouTube videos plus 5min. FaceBook and a like 15min. phone convo will dead my battery. If it's fully charged and I chop on thephone maybe some hour and a half it'll die. And if it's fully charged and I hop on ESPN and read all the srecaps for the NBA games that night, when Iget off the Internet, 1 bar of battery is gone...

I bought a car charger and 2 travel chargers so it's not that big of a deal anymore.

What all apps are people adding to their TouchPro????!!!! All I have is the ScreenLock and volumebooster...

You're probably talking on the phone like you know EXACTLY what phone you want, like you're reading off a script. I played the dumb %%%+ idiot card,complained about the phone without being forceful and said I was interested in finding out how much my ETF was, they asked if there was any phone that I wasinterested in in their lineup, and I described the TP without calling it by name...


if one CSR doesnt budge, call again and speak to someone else. What do you have to lose?
