I want to get a pair for my wife. Should I size up for her as well? She takes a 8.5 in women's. I'm even contemplating getting her a 7 in men's.

you should go with a 9 womens or 7.5 mens.. my girl wears a 9w/7.5m, she tried on an 8.5m huarache and it was a little too big.. so .5 up should be just right imo.. hope this helps..

My first Huaraches came in! I'm surprised at how comfy and bouncy the sole feels. 

My measured foot size is 8.5 with wide feet. I normally wear Nike's in 10 (Free's in 9.5). With these in size 10, my toes hit the very edge perfectly. Amazing shoe!

Usually not a fan of hybrid or "futuristic" recreations but I am really feeling almost all of those Huarache 2015s. Look comfy as hell.
