yup, I recommend to anyone that thinks they need to secure their pair today or pay resell to re evaluate their buying habits. Don’t be fooled there are resellers on IG and probably even in this thread trying to create a sense of urgency to buy or miss out but in reality it’s all smoke and mirrors. Look at what happened with the structure triax 91 sold out on the SNKRS app and the minute they hit hibbett resale TANKED. In years passed I might have pair resell which was usually someone just trying to flip to maybe pay for their own pair but now you got guys that don’t care in any way shape or form about shoes using us like we are their 401k’s and I definitely won’t be a part of that

Dammit, I had no expectation that people gave a single **** about these (people that buy **** for resale). Woke up at 10 figuring I would give SNKRS a try and then find somewhere else if/when I got the fake L there. It was a Draw, which should have been my first clue, that I didn't win, and I falsely assumed that it was stupid limited and wouldn't be available anywhere else. Stupid me now realizes that it seems like every boutique with a Nike account got them, and I snoozed through my chance to buy my size 13 anywhere. I had this release ****ed up. Wanted these WAY more than Raging Bull 5s or the Hyper Royal 1s, and now I have to pay some dumb-*** reseller $15 difference and hope they arrive (**** that, on principle), or I just move on. I know it's been said a million times, but the game is ****ed. Me, someone who is genuinely passionate about the product and want it to wear it (not to flex or flip) can't buy it at retail, but a million scrubs reselling for lunch money can. Every release is another nail in the coffin of my sneaker love. Imma just start wearing boots full-time pretty soon. Getting to the point where I don't even want to give these brands any money.

How times have changed. When these retroed in 2000 no one wanted them. When they retroed again in 2014 there was some hype but that was mainly towards other colorways (Hyper Punches and Triple Blacks to be specific). A few years later the ‘91 retros released and they sat even at a heavy discount. I planned on going all in on these because I love the shoe. I guess these being recrafted sparked up all this hype that we are seeing.
