^^ So sad and pathetic of people to try and get over during a time of crisis. People getting robbed during rescues, that's wild.

But yea offer stands for any NT'er needing a place.

That's what I mean, this is time for us Texans to come together and ***holes only thinking about themselves. I know I'll catch heat for this but when this whole thing first started and those two people got shot for trying to break into someone's house I was legit happy. People have enough to worry about with just trying to stay alive during this catastrophe, and the first thing someone thinks is how can I come up. That's bull****. That really makes me mad fam, you robbing people who need help and re-victimizing them, I hope hell is hotter for them when they go.

This *******'s going to hell.:emoji_rage::emoji_angry::emoji_confused::smh::stoneface:

Seriously, who the hell is thinking about trying to profit, **** that dude. That's gotta come back to him. I'm not super spiritual or extra religious, but genuinely believe you get back in life what you have given to help your fellow man/neighbor. I hope his wife or daughter get pubic lice around their mouth

Why does HOU get flooded? Is it like New Orleans where the city is like a bowl?

I mean it's the drainage and bayous...we are known as the bayou city...buffalo bayou is enormous and runs straight through the city...once all the bayous reach maximum capacity and overflow is when the damage happens...they released 2 massive dams to help with residents who live around that area because of back ups...the problem was the bayous were already full so that release caused more overflow of the bayous...
My block started to flood when it wasn't raining...it was crazy...

Too many homes and buildings not enough bayous. Low levels in the most populatated areas in town. Freeways always under construction so alot of these drains are getting clogged up. Subdivisions relying on man made lakes to keep water out. This has been becoming too frequent lately.

Probably one of the biggest problems here. I turned 30 not too long ago and I swear there's freeways that have been getting worked on since I was in elementary, and that's not even including the newer tolls they started working on, ones that start somewhere near that Gulfpoint theater near Sabo, all the way (eventually) to 288.

290 has been under construction for a long time

My parents live in the SW of Houston, close to Stafford. Luckily As Of Today, there Is About 2 inches of flood water and no property damage. Two places I used to work: three brothers bakery and the Omni both flooded. Over 100 cars lost at the Omni, they have a below level garage (that always floods). I've been going in on Twitter towards Joel Osteen and continue to pester the Texans and Bob Mcnair for him to donate as much as he did for the Trump campaign (2nd highest donor after kinder Morgan in Houston). Of course 1 million is a ton of money but people have supported you since 2002 with your crappy football and health concerns and Les of the Rockets gave 4 million. I just want him to step it up.

Went to HEB off of I 10 & bunker hill **** was insane. Basically grab whatever you could get.
