You would have a valid point if she actually asked for the attention. Shes a high profile female that likes high profile men, nothing wrong with that. The paparazzi and the media are the ones who force feed us her relationships and what not. Im sure she would much rather keep her love life private but the media wont allow that because every picture taken and article written is a paycheck for someone

Thank you! Somebody with some sense. All these captains save a kims in here need to understand this. She's famous for dating guys, and sextapes, and "modeling". She's a roller. 90% of women don't act like her. She's like the chick in college that dates the best ball player, then club promoter, then best football player, etc. She just wants attention and brings nothing to the table other than looks. It's sad pretty. The number of men she has slept with isn't the problem. The number of marriages and serious relationships is the problem. Some chicks just need a man to validate their existence, that's worse than being a slide

By the way, when it comes to Kim K, it is not her making a sextape with a boyfriend that is the issue. The issue is that it was an intentional publicity stunt where they made that tape to release it on PURPOSE to exploit herself to become famous off of the sex tape. Anyone is naive as hell to think her and her people did not conspire with Ray J to leak it.

Doesn't California law makes it impossible for a privately made tape or video to be commercially released WITHOUT THE WRITTEN CONSENT of all parties featured in the film? Kim made millions off the sex tape and she got the fame she wanted. Without the sex tape, she would be nowhere.
 
Now, I'm not one to call her a %$% because of what's been stated. A lot of what she's done others have done just outside of the public eye.

But when you consider that she is famous for....

A sextape.

A 70 day marriage.

Then I can see how people might feel some type of way about her.

pretty much. The fact that her and her family arent talented at all and basically pimp themselves out makes her , Ill say more of a ho than others. What is Kim really known for besides a sex tape, her booty, and dating/marrying celebrities. At least Rihanna is talented ( in peoples opinions) so her ho-**% nature is somewhat overlooked.
And for the OP, I wouldnt say 90% of women are only known for their sexual history. I mean, you dont see a girl you may know and say, " yo, did you see her sex tape tape. I heard she was with Joe and thn Mike then etc" . Now change some names around and that pretty much applies to Kim

Point is no one in here knows for a fact if she conspired with Ray J or not, all we can do is speculate

And as far as that law, Tommy Lee and Pam Anderson had their tape stolen, neither one of them gave WRITTEN CONSENT, and it still got packaged and released, same with Paris Hilton

That is the thing when it comes to celebrities, you can never know what to believe when it comes to them and publicity stunts with sex tapes. Their protestations are simply just PR spin attempts and the public usually buy their excuses. The law says that in order to sell porn sex tapes on the market, you CANNOT without the consent of all parties signing a massive release form followed by them providing copies of two valid forms of government issues IDs. An example of someone who is stopping from that happening is Jennifer Lopez whose husband is trying to sell videos of hers. I think she won the case. 
Here is an example of an article that provides a good explanation.

Let's imagine that you and your eighteen-year-old girlfriend get bored one day and decide to make a sex tape. Let's further imagine that your ex-girlfriend eventually breaks up with you but (thankfully) forgets to demand that you destroy the tape. Six years later the ex-girlfriend becomes a reality show star, and the sex tape sitting in your closet is now potentially worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Can you sell it without getting her consent? Can you release it on the Internet without getting sued by her?

The above "hypothetical" is of course based upon the real-life situation faced by Kendra Wilkinson's ex-boyfriend, Justin Frye, who reportedly ended up selling a sex tape with Kendra to Vivid Entertainment for $100,000. Kendra has been widely quoted as supposedly being despondent over the release of the tape, stating on her show that "It broke my heart because how can [someone] do that when I have a baby? It just sucks. It's the hardest thing to deal with right now." 

Most bloggers have been skeptical (to say the least) of Kendra's protestations and with good reason. Kendra had to consent to the release of the tape in order for a well-established company, like Vivid, to release it legally. California and most states have passed specific laws protecting a person's "right of publicity," meaning their right to control and license their image for commercial purposes. The law also recognizes the tort of invasion of privacy. Courts have held that celebrities have a right to keep their sexual life private, and will grant injunctions to celebrities who show a threatened violation of their right of sexual privacy.

If Kendra had objected to release of her sex tape, she could sought an injunction preventing Vivid or Frye from ever releasing the tape under either a right of publicity or a right of sexual privacy theory. I have no doubt that a court would have granted such an injunction. The fact that she did not obtain the injunction demonstrates that she must have entered into an agreement with Vivid. And, in fact, Radar Online has reported that Kendra has already received $680,000 from Vivid and will get up to 50% of profits from the tape in the future. 

So, the bottom line is that if you ever find yourself lucky enough to be in possession of a celebrity sex tape, you are going to need the celebrity's consent before you can sell or release it. The good news is that both you and the celebrity stand to make a lot of money if you can convince them to consent.
