if u can help me be able to delete from phone but keep in my gmail inbox please lt me know

The inbox on your iphone is basically a clone of the inbox on your gmail. I don't know how to delete on the iphone and not have it delete in my gmail, because it's all synced together every time you check your mail.

If I don't want an email showing up on my iphone, I just move it to "all mail", because I end up archiving all my emails anyways. Hope ithelped.

some guy offered me 240 for my old Iphone, is that a good deal?

it is unlocked and jailbroken, decent condition - minor scratches - still got 3 month of apple care on it.

no/yes

Pwnage Tool 2.0 is officially released by the Dev Team.

The tool jailbreaks and unlocks any 1st gen iPhones running the 2.0 firmware, and jailbreaks any 3G iPhone/iPod Touch running the 2.0 firmware. It does NOT support older versions of the iPhone/iPod Touch firmware.

This release DOESN'T UNLOCK 3G iPHONES YET, but they say they're working on that.

We will have a full guide tonight (edit: here's the guide), but for now here's the download links:

MMi Members (best performance) | MMi Direct Link| Mirror | Original

Bootloader 3.9 | Bootloader 4.6

Edit: As stated in previous News posts, Installer is NOT ready for 2.0 yet, but Cydia is included in the Pwnage Tool jailbreak, and is supported with all of ModMyiFone's packages from Installer, as well as Bigboss, Zodttd, and many if not most of Ste's packages. Its a more solid and well supported package manager than Installer - don't worry, you can still get most of your jailbroken apps once they're converted to 2.0 compatible by their respective devs.

what kind of issues have OG owners had with the 2.0 update? I've got 1.1.4 right now and have been hearing mixed reviews on the 2.0 on the OG iPhones, saying it is extra sluggish and slow with the update.

am I better off just sticking with the 1.1.4 and jailbreaking that? or just do the 2.0 update

^ i will tell it to you straight up. i had a 1.1.4 iphone 8gb winpwn unlocked. i was skeptical about upgrading but after massive amount of research i wentthrough with it. Now its very slow when you turn on the phone, but its faster then 1.1.4 so far for me. There arent many compatible applications for the new2.0 update yet. i do not have mac so i could not pwnagetool. So since my phone was already unlocked i bootneuter it to 4.6 with everything on besidesfakeblank. Downloaded a custom firmware someone else already made for winpwn users and i shift restored it on itunes 7.7
so far its working fabolous, not going to lie i love it. but i had my phone at the best state possible with all the amazing crack apps at 1.1.4
its up to you, for me it worked, for others it has failed. sometimes you just have to take the risk hoping the results are worthwhile. I have cydia but waitingon them to release installer 4.0, then game over. well good luck

what movies/tv shows everyone got on their phones?

i got SFA movie, samurai champloo full season, FF7 advent children, and Gundam Wing Endless Waltz on mine right now.

anything you guys recommend having on the phone to watch when bored?

^^^^^^^^so If i have a locked original iphone.... can I unlock. Jailbreak it using this 2.0 pwnge tool not the older ones people used when 2.0 wasnt out? andif I do unlock/jailbreak an og iphone that has 2.0 installed will it also have the other installer that people had on their unlocked iphones before theappstore? like cydia? Thanks

I just successfully upgraded my 1.1.4 iphone to 2.0 unlocked! I got the directions.

DON'T UPGRADE YOUR IPHONE TO 2.0 YET!!! USE THE DOWNLOAD ONLY for 2.0, BUT DO NOT UPGRADE!!!
then follow the instructions found here:http://iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1557
go to the link if the pics/links below do not work.

Before we begin a big thanks to N41 for creating the original version of this tutorial. Some of the screenshots have been updated and hopefully things are as simple as possible. Please note that we have created a 3G version of this tutorial so users of the new iPhone can follow along exactly with the tutorial.

You can find the 3G version of this tutorial: here

You need iTunes 7.7 to continue...

Alright, first make a folder on the desktop. In it, you will need a couple of things. The two bootloader files found here or here and Pwnage 2.0.1, found Download here or Download here

You will also need the 2.0 iPhone firmware.
2G iPhone 2.0 5A347: here

When downloading the IPSW file, it is best to download it with Firefox!

Step One
Create a folder on your desktop with all the required files listed above.

Step Two
Double click to launch PwnageTool 2.

Click Ok if presented with a warning.

Step Three
Make sure you click Expert Mode from the top menu.

Step Four
Select your iPhone or iPod from the three devices shown. Notice a large checkmark appears over the selected device. Then click the blue arrow button at the bottom right.

Step Five
You will be brought to the "Browse for IPSW" page. On my laptop, it automatically found the IPSW. If PwnageTool doesn't automatically find the ipsw file you can click Browse for IPSW... button.

Click to select the found IPSW file, a checkmark will appear next to it. Then click the blue arrow button to continue.

Step Six
You will then be brought to a menu with 7 choices. Click to select General then click the blue arrow button.

The General settings allows you to decide the partition size. Click activate the phone and Disable partition wipe-out. Click the blue arrow button.
***IF the Enable Baseband checkbox is not greyed out, checkmark it. This will allow the unlock to occur!***

In the Bootneuter settings, click Neuter bootloader, Unlock baseband, and Auto-Delete BootNeuter.app. It is not necessary to upgrade the bootloader unless you are really feeling the need to be on 4.6. Click the blue arrow button to continue.

The Cydia settings menu allows you to create custom packages so you do not have to manually install the necessary them later.

Click to select the Download packages tab. Then click the Refresh button to display all the available packages. Double clicking the package you want will download it and make it available in the Select Packages tab.

Checkmark the ones you want then Click the blue arrow button.

The Custom Packages Settings menu displays listed package settings for your custom IPSW. For know leave these settings as is. Click the blue arrow button to continue.

The Custom Logos Settings menu allows you to add your own images as boot logos. Click the Browse button to select your Boot logo and Recovery logo.

Remember the rules for them: RGB or Grayscale format with Alpha channel and dimension bellow 320x480...

Click the blue arrow button to continue.

Step Seven
You are now ready to build your custom firmware. Click the build button to select it, then click the blue arrow button.

Step Eight
If this is the first time doing this, you will be asked to upload the 3.9 and 4.6 BL files. When prompted to search the web, click no.

You will prompted to browse for the 3.9BL file. Click Yes then select the file(BL-39.bin) from the Pwnage folder you created on your desktop and click the Open button.

Select the file in the Pwnage folder on your desktop and click the Open button.

Do the same for 4.6.

***: After loading the 4.6 BL you may be asked if you're a legit user. If you legally have ATT or an iPhone plan in a different country, clicking yes will not unlock the iPhone and activate it as your legal plan already activates it and there is no need for an unlock. However if you wish to keep the iPhone unlocked, when asked if you're a legit iPhone user, click no

Step Nine
After both are found. You will be asked to save your custom .ipsw file. Save it to your Pwnage folder on the desktop.

Step Ten
Your custom IPSW is now being built. Please allow up to 10 minutes.

If prompted enter your Administrator password and click the OK button.

When prompted if your iPhone has been Pwned before, we clicked No. It allows for a more thorough restore.

You will be asked to turn off the device. Make sure it is connected to the USB port.

Step Eleven
Be ready to follow directions now. It will ask you to hold the home button and the power button for 10 seconds. Then, you will have to release the power button and hold the home button for 10 seconds to enter DFU.

If you fail, it will show you a message. Click Yes. Unplug the iPhone from the USB. Turn it off, then turn it back on. Plug it back into the USB and turn off the iPhone when prompted.

When done correctly, Pwnage 2.0 will display a message telling your that it successfully entered DFU mode. iTunes will also pop-up.

Step Twelve
In iTunes, hold the Alt/Option button and click Restore.

Step Thirteen
Navigate to the Pwnage folder on your desktop using the dialog window that appears. Select the custom IPSW that was created (iPhone1,1_2.0_5A347_Custom_Restore.ipsw) and click the Open button.

Step Fourteen
Once the restore has completed, it will restart your iPhone. The phone will then launch BootNeuter.app to unlock your device.

Please allow 5 minutes for this to complete. Your iPhone will restart once completed.

I just upgraded to 2.0 from 1.1.4 on an unlocked iphone. Been cool so far...haven't seen any lag or problems. I'm just looking through all the appsright now. AIM and Facebook apps are cool. Pandora's hot too.

I'd be skeptical about anything an AT&T rep says, considering they have even less info than an Apple employee, who has no info on Appleproducts. Apple has never released any information on new products to people who may let the info slide. Now, it can be pretty obvious when new stuff iscoming, but from what I've read 32gig chips that can fit the phone wont be ready till early 2009. I don't know how accurate that is, but if I were you,I'd almost just grab the 16 now, if the 32 came out, you could probably sell the 16 for a pretty good chunk of change.
