Is Buying Jordans Good On Ebay??

Every now and then if the right deal comes up. IMO you kind of get a feel for it. I got lucky and landed a mint pair of DTRT III's last week which I'd been wanting for a while. But there are definitely some horror stories. I'd say unless you're 110% sure it's not worth the risk. If there's an ounce of doubt don't even bother.

In order to have success of ebay you need to be educated in the shoe you are looking at. I've never recieved fakes, but I've recieved shoes described as 8-9/10 show up 4/10, seperating etc. Don't rely on just ebay to get your back, you need to be sure its the right thing to do in the first place. I've definately got steals NDS cool grey 9 for 75 shipped and I've made a ton selling... but for every bad experience it sours 3 good ones....

Well said.  I think a good thing to do sometimes is to check out youtube to see if anyone's done a comparison video on the shoe you're looking to buy.  I actually avoided a pair of fake South Beaches by doing that.  Everything was money on them except the color on the inside of the air pocket, and doing that helped me catch the flaw.

Do research , know how much the shoes u Want typically cost, check feedback , get plenty of pics (tagged if possible ), match style codes etc
. Watch you tube videos to learn what details the shoes have or go to legit websites to compare pics etc

Review other items the sellers has and if u still have doubt you can always legit check

80% of my collection is off eBay , you may pay a lil higher but I think u get what u pay for , also many reputable sellers have twitter accounts , websites or even brick and motor locations to back up their credibility

It's a risk regardless , but an educated risk is less likely to burn u

I've been lucky thus far until this week.....won an auction for a pair of 9's on sunday, paid after it ended and the seller won't claim the money from pay pal. Not sure what the problem is but i've emailed him and he won't respond. If he doesn't claim it by tomorrow night I'm cancelling the payment. I have a feeling he didn't get what he wanted out of them so he is pissed.
