And as an FYI, collaborators sometimes go through dozens of samples before getting the final product.

Did JB finally change the shape of the Jordan 3 toe box because of Virgil too? Not srs.

Now that I think about it... to me, sneakers having an aged look to it releasing in this day and age, if executed really well, are instant classics. But then again, there's like only a handful of them out there, like the Converse Chuck Taylor 70s and the AJKO Chicagos.

If JB doesn't overdo the whole vintage look on these then I'll definitely go all in, along with the OG 2s. But for now, I'm going to lower my expectations

I see now the blogs, a couple days after I mentioned OG 2s coming back with box and proper hang tag reported it.

I tried telling a couple ppl at those blogs about the Chicago 1s and 2s a month ago and they said I have no proof (well I’m not going to share texts from folks at JB with them)

I'm skeptical about the 1s because it's JB we're talking about, but will we get a proper, non gimmick Chicago 1 in the '85 High mold anytime soon? I'd much prefer that than some High OG/'85 High hybrid.

Looking at his website it looks like he disassembled a bunch of actual 1985 pairs and did like scans of all the pieces to be able to remake them. Doesn’t look like he actually sells the shoes unfortunately.. I would pay at least $400 for a pair of those Chicagos just exactly like those pictures, fakes or no fakes idc those are insane.

Pre-aged sneakers is such a lame concept and I'll die on this hill. Achieving that look by simply wearing the shoes will always be a better alternative. If this vintage OG run is going to be a mainstay for JB for the next few years, I'm gonna be disappointed. I'm also gonna save a lot of money too unless what they come out with is so impressive that I can overlook the blatant trend following JB is doing.
