keanu's new role: john wick, john wick 2 announced; Patiently waiting for john wick 3 to be announce

Also, for clarification purposes, JW didn't use a Glock 17 in sequel; it was a TTI modified Glock 34; main difference between the 17 and 34 is an extra inch of barrel and slide cuts on the top.

any word on Wick 3 yet? 2 was great, glad I put my foot down with Wifey to see this instead of 50 Shades.

Seen it friday....movie was dope....fight scenes between him and common were lit...how he left common though lmao

Basically a sure thing -- studio would be stupid to not capitalize off this

Crazy how this series revived Keanu's career -- and he's 52yo too

I would assume so based off the reviews and money it has brought in. 52 and doing if not all most of his stunts. The fights between him and Common were great

It has surpassed the first one in the box office already and it does feel like it is barely getting started...

JW1 - $88m
JW2 - $93m

Not too surprising. A lot of people didn't see it in theaters. I saw the movie solo.

Everything thought the movie was gonna stink especially after the Alston few Keanu action movies. It was definition of a sleeper hit. This time the hype was behind it.

So funny, the first movie I didn't even know it was In theaters. I thought it was a straight to DVD movie.

If you haven't seen this movie yet you need to check it out.

Top 5 movies I've seen this past year and I've only seen 2 movies total.

Saw a Keanu interview and he said the end of John Wick 1 and the beginning of John Wick 2 were 5 days apart.. Storyline.. That's why the dog doesn't have a name..

One of the directors wants to direct a James Bond film, if he can convince Craig to stay then that something to look forward to.

Bond stepped their game up then went full on 50 years ago goofy for some reason. Not sure i'm interested in anymore.

I'm already ready for a part 3 lol. Hope The Transporter, Jason Bourne, Bond, The Equalizer and every other bad a** assassin gets the text and comes after him.

Keanu Reeves Is Already Concocting a Plot for John Wick: Chapter 3

Have you seen John Wick: Chapter 2 yet? If you haven't, maybe go see John Wick: Chapter 2. We loved John Wick: Chapter 2, and we're totally on board with the idea of a third film following Keanu Reeves' well-dressed assassin's assassin. So is Keanu Reeves, thank God. Reeves, in fact, is so on board that he's even actively spitballing ideas for a potential John Wick: Chapter 3, and it's wonderful.

Of course, reading any further requires a bit of a spoiler warning: Talking about the beginning of a possible third John Wick film, by necessity, means we've got to at least mention how the second one ended.

This is largely because John Wick: Chapter 2 ends on a hell of a cliffhanger, with Wick—having broken one of the two cardinal rules of his order and killed someone in the neutral zone that is the Continental Hotel—excommunicated from the (still-unnamed) order of assassins he was a member of. So that's the last we see of John Wick at the end of Chapter 2: A battered Wick, breaking into a run in Central Park, with only an hour's grace period before it's open season on him, worldwide. In an interview with Empire, Reeves sounds really jazzed about this premise, and rattles off ideas about where the next film would pick up.

"I think the opening of the film should be Wick just trying to escape from New York," Reeves told us. "Literally trying to get off the island. Maybe he asks [Lawrence Fisburne's character] the Bowery King for help. Maybe John Leguizamo comes and helps me out. 'John, I can't do it, you're excommunicado!'"

Reeves continued in an animated fashion: "Maybe the High Table shows up. And then the High Table starts firing guns. And then maybe this kind of thing starts to happen between the High Table and Continental? Maybe John is the activator of this confrontation, and perhaps there's a war? Wouldn't that be awesome?!"

You should check out Empire's podcast for more of Reeves' take, but it's not hard to play along yourself: Reeves, like us, mostly wants to know how the hell is Wick going to make it out of Manhattan in an hour, much less find any sort of safe haven and—maybe—turn the tables on his many pursuers.

While Chapter 3 isn't really official yet, the Empire piece also includes a small tidbit from Chapter 2 director Chad Stahelski, who says he'd "like to expand the world maybe another 25%." Honestly, we have no idea how much crazier John Wick movies can get, but we'd love to see how much they'll try.

Wick's style is on POINT! my girl got me the pin things he had over the tie, i mentioned to her that i liked that. now i gotta look for the shirt that can hold it :lol
