**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

he probably comes back unless the doctors tell him no

he need to get his value up

Welp. Maybe they do bring him back on a steep discount.

Feel bad for dude
Signed a cheap deal with Suns, missed out on all the crazy bags teams were giving out, had a great year in Boston and never was able to cash in

Now with this injury he’ll be lucky to get a 1 year $5 M deal

Victim of bad timing

Pobrecito.

opting for surgery
nice knowing you IT...

Don't post that in this thread... Silver is lurking and gonna hit us with another tampering fine..

LOL and his agent was demanding a starting spot when he got traded to here.
He would be happy if he got to sniff a decent contract next year for a sixth man role.

We’ll see but 10 milly even sounds steep for someone who you never know when that hip will flare up word to Johnny Flynn

Thomas will spend time between his offseason home in Seattle and Los Angeles rehabilitating the hip over the next few months, and the Lakers have told Thomas that he will be welcome to use the team's practice facility throughout his rehabilitation program.

Smart approach by LA, not just for IT, for all players.

Kinda feel for IT man, esp the run he had with boston last year was something special ... now his contract year and having the same issues with the hip, he was never fully healthy.

1 yr 10M for IT

Me more than likely will never have a full recovery from this hip. They said before that it isn’t something that is easy to rehab and you almost never come back even being close to 100%. It will probably continue to aggravate him next season and he’ll miss time. Would rather just give a little more to someone more stable if there is a comparable player available.
