Agreed. But no one else is close.

Kareem had about 5K assists.
Kobe had 6K.
MJ about 5K.
Not sure how many Wilt had.
Dirk/Shaq about 3-4K or so?

I think Vogel is still coach if they don't make that bonehead move to trade for Russ and really strip the roster of what Vogel needed for his defense....
