Soft-ish is putting it lightly.
Not exactly a murderer's row of teams, but they did enough to get to the play-in and hopefully the 7th seed in the West. But I wouldn't exactly call it "great ball".
With luck, you knock off the half a roster Wolves, hope to hold off Memphis, then maybe face the Kings but more than likely the Warriors. Then either Denver or the Suns in the WCF. Just have to stay healthy until around Memorial Day. *fingers crossed*

Even more impressive, since according to most Laker fans online, Ham doesn’t know **** about coaching.
2-10 to 43-39.
41-29 in the last 70.
18-8 in the last 26 (56-57 win pace for an entire year)
All this while dealing with a **** ton of injuries and a roster that didn’t make sense. You know how hard it must’ve been to keep this team and the locker room together? Dealing with our negative *** fan base all year? A rookie head coach?

I said we were only 2 games better than the Magic........when we were only 2 games ahead of the Magic. Not sure where the "we shouldn't even try" comes from, but go on.
AD has only been good in 1/4 of his runs.........not sure where that quote came from either, ya know, since it's in quotes but I didn't see anyone say it.
What I said, clearly, was he's only had ONE playoff run in his career. Which is correct.
So saying "you don't really need to worry about AD stepping up in the playoffs" seems a bit of a stretch. It's literally one single run to base anything on. Unless someone is super high on his beating the Blazers in his only other series win of his career.

Why would I "believe in a 7 seed" tho? Do I HOPE they pull somethin outta their ***? Absolutely. Similar to Kobe against the Suns as the 2-7 back in the day. We all hoped and begged and prayed, but we all knew where it was gonna end up in the end, right?
We aren't a top seed. We don't have home court. We haven't been out here demolishing the Nuggets, or the Bucks, or the KD led Suns. We been beating a bunch of half rosters. Happy to get the wins, absolutely, but that doesn't exactly spell success. And every single time we see Bron or AD wince we all cover our faces praying they ok.
I laid out the playoff scenario. That's our path in order to have the success we want. Can we beat Minny? Yes. Does that mean we gonna walk into Memphis and knock them around? I dunno. We certainly better than the Kobe 7 seed Lakers, and Memphis is definitely not the Nash led Suns team. So we got a shot. But screamin from the rooftops about we beat a Jazz team with 6 g leaguers, or we beat the Suns without their 6 best players isn't exactly confidence inspiring play. Maybe it is for you, but not me. Beat the Grizz and start throwin some haymakers at the Dubs, then I'll buy it. Beating the Jazz in OT and half a Suns team ain't doin it for me.

B, Bron got hurt like a day later.
C, I haven't changed any stance.
Win the Title THIS year, then trade AD. Same stance in April, as March, as February, as January, as December........

What's the lowest seed that's ever won a chip? This season is eerily similar to 21, injury riddled season, but there's cautious optimism; go into the playoffs relatively healthy, just hoping that can sustain this time.

It was obvious to anyone with half a brain that this team was going to take off.................Bron-Dlo injured literally before everyone could get their new jerseys. (Ok, not literally, immediately)
We were the 13th seed at the time, and just lost 2 starters to injury. One of them, was bad enough to need surgery

Yeah man, you makin stuff up in your head. Now go pull what I said back then, Win the Title THIS YEAR, because that's all we got left, and then trade AD next year. My goal this entire time. Win 2023 Title. Because we can't expect Bron and AD to survive another season next year, we lose Lonnie, we might lose Dennis, we don't know about AR yet, hell, we don't even know about DLo or Rui yet.
It HAS TO BE this year. It has to. Them staying healthy enough to get thru 2 months >>>>>>>>>> staying healthy enough for another 9 month run next year.
