I was in those season ticket holder Q&As with Mitch. He told us 2 years in a row about Kobe coming off the books and preserving cap space. He gave 1 year deals to preserve it. Then kobe came off the books. Then what happened?

This regime came in a few months ago and are changing the culture, getting a roster of character players with specific skill sets that they want for Luke's offense.

When Magic and Rob flub an initial star free agent meeting so bad that they have to have a 2nd one, strike out on all their star and spend big money on old role player guys for multiple years strapping us cap wise by all means have at em. Be consistent.

This new regime came in. Evaluated players/environment. Are changing culture. Told us the strategy is to have cap space next summer. Got rid of a bad contract. Had a great draft.
When a new group comes in with a clean slate, you let them do their thing.
Mitch and Jim had a series of consecutive blunders (kobe, pau, dwight) so when they had the meetings and strike outs, it was like the final straw and fans were pi**ed off.
You guys are pi**ed off and Magic and Rob just came in a few months ago

Magic explicitly said they want to save cap space for next year BECAUSE he didn't expect much movement this summer. How can you not even admit that it was an incorrect assessment. At the very least you should be able to say yea he was wrong on that one but we're still set up for next year.
