Anyone else experience this with their friends or former friends that just seem to disappear after they have a kid or kids?  I have kids myself and never did that to anyone so I'm definitely feeling some type of way about this.  It's like I lose friends every time they have kids

The older you get the less "friends" you have OP. Just a part of life.

My friends are family. Dudes I grew up with and I can go months without speaking to, but when we talk, it's like we never skipped a day.

Bout to see one of my boys next week and get a fifth of crown when I go down south.

The thing is I'm not even that old, I'm 31.  I've heard that my whole life but just didn't think it'd happen to me or just never wanted to think that it would happen to me.  It sucks that I'm down to like 10 friends that I speak to everyday or close to everyday

You got 10 friends and you complaining.

10 friends......
Speak everyday.....

must be nice

Bruh, :lol

I don't think I've ever carried 10 friends at once. Maybe 6 max, but after that, I start forgetting ****** names, personalities and special abilities.

**** all that. You should tell some of them dudes to go raw so you can consolidate that list.

The 10 friends left consist of both guys and girls, mostly guys but I'm not used to this.  I mean before I'd never have to use uber/lyft for a ride to the airport because I had so many friends someone was bound to be free to give me a ride.  These last couple of years it's not a guarantee anymore

I don't eem think in my peak I had 10 AIM friends I'd talk to everyday
I'm serious though, just the fact that I have to use uber/lyft on occasion is crazy to me.  And that's 10 that I communicate with on a daily basis, I don't see them on a daily basis

One of my better friends, just had a kid. The other just moved in with his girl. That leaves me with zero friends, I do have some hos though. Some.

Man...for real. I currently have maybe 2 solid friends I hang with and it's cause of work. But one of my buddies wants kids soon and I know he will be gone after.

I wouldnt even want more than like two close friends. At some point it becomes a burden. I got things to do, and hardly any free time. My free time is devoted to my girl pretty much.

It's funny. I thought I was the only one. I would think if I got married tomorrow I wouldn't even have a lot of people to invite.

All of my friends are spread out globally. Relocate for job, family, etc.

Once you have kids, your family should be your priority. I'm 34 and married with 1 kid, and because I am extremely busy, I rarely kick it with my homeboys (all known for 25 plus years). Between the time I am at work, and the time caring for my daughter (the wife and I work opposite schedules), I barley have enough time for myself. By the time I get off work, it's too late to link up with cats (they work in the AM), and I gotta get up early every day for the for baby. My fam understands this, but when we link, it's still all love. For my homeboys with kids that I still hear are running around like they got no family, I just shake my head. IMO, real men put their family first, and handle business.
