The Young Bucks vs Roppongi 3k was a good starter match, Cody vs Ibushi was highly entertaining and his interactions with Brandi had Cody rightfully concerned bout his girl choosing. Archer and Davey Boy Vol 2 Best the crap outta Sanada and Evil but the persevered. Goto vs Suzuki was very legit and the way Minoru’s hair was cut had me

I remember when I first watched this match. I thought "why is AJ facing this jobber of a wrestler at Wrestle Kingdom?" Now that "jobber" has been my favorite wrestler on the planet for well over a year. Hiromu is a close second.

[MASTERS NEWS] Keiji Mutoh and Masahiro Chono took part in a press conference to announce the main event for the February 16 show at the Korakuen Hall.
Right off the bat, Masahiro Chono will not be competing (which he has not been in the ring in a little over 3 years or so), but will be present to support the TEAM 2000 revival against Mutoh’s team of veterans. Chono will be ringside as the GM for his team as the 54 year currently isn’t comfortable competing. Mutoh hinted that one of his goal’s is to bring Chono back into the ring much as he did for Hiroshi Hase this past Summer. As Mutoh also put an ultimatum that if he ever retires that he wants it to be against Chono, as they both debuted together in October of 1984.

What’s funny is, I was trying to think at what moment did Naito become my favorite and then I remembered his match vs Kenny in the G126. I thought for sure he was going to win, but then in a losing effort, I realized 2 things. 1. Kenny Omega is a serious contender and 2. Naito is the best thing going in wrestling, Lucha, and Sports Entertainment today.
